A must-try in Warsaw! - Edit
This place is so unassuming but delicious! We had dinner here our first night, and we can't wait to go back. My husband and I shared the carbonara (very popular in the reviews, and also highly recommended by our server) and the fried cutlet with mashed potatoes and sauerkraut. Both were so good, but the carbonara was the winner. The service was very helpful and friendly too. Definitely give this place a try!

So good - Edit
It think its safe to say that this was some of the best potatoe salad I ever had. Maybe it was the simplicity of the dish, but something in there just really hit the spot. I wish I would have had the chance to try more of their dishes, as the meals of the other guests looked amazing as well. Portion size was huge, the meal left nothing else to wish for.
Read moreService was surprisingly quick considering it was quite full and the servers were very attentive. The overall vibe is alternative and fun.
Pros: The potatoes salad, Traditional cuisine veganized, Overall vibe

Lata mijają, a Lokal się nie zmienia, wciąż proste, ale pyszne jedzenie, przyjazny klimat i spojrzenie szersze niż we własny talerz. Obowiązkowy punkt przy każdej wizycie w Warszawie.

The only place we visited twice on our trip - Edit
Such a wonderful place. Kind staff, tasty dishes and very meaningful. Order & pay at the counter vibes, with nice drinks on offer too. This was the only place we visited twice on our Warsaw trip, the seitan steak was to die for! They also had a halloumi dish that they donated 5PLN from to a local Gaza charity❤️

simple bit good - Edit
The Food was delicious. The best was the Spaghetti Carbonara. Sooo yummy, 100points! What i didn't like so much was the cold beeteoot soup. It was a bit watery and not flavoury enough, i ate better ones in other places. Also the cucumber salad was very simple and could have been more seasoned. It's not a cosy restaurant but a bistro. So it's really basic seats and tables and you return your dirty plates youself to the counter. All in all very good, but only the 2nd best that i tried in Warsaw.

Cons: Some dishes not well seasoned, simple sitting (not that cosy)

Delicious - Edit
I had to come here on my short visit to Warsawa, as it sounded like a chance to eat more local style food in a completely vegan restaurant. It didn’t disappoint. The sorrel soup was great (I am a big fan of sorrel), and the fish and chips - delicious. Fish was made of aubergine wrapped in seaweed and then coated and fried. The green dressing had fresh mint in it and marinated onions - perfect combination. I couldn’t finish everything, but made sure to pack myself lunch for tomorrow. Highly recommended!

If you could only visit one vegan place in Warsaw, this is it. Fantastic food served by fantastic people. Menu changes regularly, but there are some staples that stay all year round.

Vegan bistro with good food - Edit
Very nice vegan place with indoor and outdoor seating. Excellent service. I ordered super tasty tatar for starter and schabowy (schnitzel) with salats and fresh potatoes as main. All super tasty and I got the food with almost no waiting. All this for 75 PLN with tea, so pretty fair price in my opinion. Highly recomended.

Empfehlenswert - Edit

simple tasty Polish - Edit
Very laid-back bistro with just a few vegan dishes. I was with a group so we could try almost all of them (no seitan skewers, already sold out) and all of them were tasty. I had the seitan steak and it was delicious but not greasy or too salty. Fun drinks too and the bathroom is full of the kind of stickers that this is a true vegan venue with a social heart.

Disappointing food - Edit
Nice vibe, trendy spot, but our food was surprisingly disappointing! Kebab, how wrong can it be? It can be underseasoned, low on flavour, and served perversely in a big crusty bread that was very hard to eat. Something really misjudged by the cook(s) here, and this is odd given the other happy reviews.

Lokal Vegan bistro is such a gem when it comes to polish vegan food, I came back three times and it became my comfort place. Fried cutlet was my fav, it's really a nostalgic dish for me. They also serve classics of other cuisines

Informal nice place - Edit
Informal place where you have to order at the bar and then bring the dishes to the kitchen (maybe it’s a thing here in Poland, I don’t know ☺️) . We had the Fried Cutlet, the Rainbow Fries and French Fries. We liked everything.

Top notch vegan versions - Edit
We came here in 2019 and had a good lunch, and have just been back for dinner with (non-vegan) friends. Everyone loved the food.
Read moreThe steak tartare was amazing, the seitan steak was impressive and tasty, and the soy cutlet (pushed by our Polish friend as one of the most typical Polish things to try) was great. But especially the potatoes, cucumber salad, beans and sauces that came with the fake meats were wonderful.
Would happily eat here again!
