Disappointing experience - Edit
I went here as had read all the great reviews. The menu had some interesting options but nothing unusual. I wanted to order the seitan steak but they were sold out. I instead ordered the carbonara. The dish took a while to arrive (no starters ordered). I got a exceptionally large stack of spaghetti- way too much, it was enough for 2 people. It was too much, I couldn’t finish and to be honest, didn’t taste good - the sauce was bland and hard to eat. I also didn’t enjoy my wine spritz - no spritz, it tasted awful. Unfortunately later on, both myself and my friend felt unwell after the food. I won’t be returning - very disappointing experience.

The seitan schnitzel wirh potatoes was alright nothing wrong with it. The dessert on the other hand was incredible. It brought up the whole experience to a 5/5.

4 ⭐️
Read more🧭 Vegan tartare was well-seasoned and the texture matched tartar perfectly
🧭 Seitan steak tasted delicious but does have a slightly fluffy texture
🧭 Not sold out of anything when we went on a Sunday at 13:30, and there were plenty of open tables (full by 14:30, though)
🧭 Fast service

One of my favorites in Warsaw - Edit
I tried it a year ago and again recently. Never disappoints.
Read moreCasual no frills place, inexpensive, offering perfect vegan versions of polish classics.
Their seitan steak is simply incredible. No idea how they make it so good. Also, so filling you won't need to add a starter...

Delicious traditional polish food - Edit
Delicious traditional polish food. We went there twice. In the first visit we ordered two dishes, both of them were delicious. I ordered another dish again the next day. The dish was something I had been craving for a long time as a vegan. Wonderful comfort food, I would like to eat it again and again. Nice atmosphere and friendy staff in the restaurant. Highly recommended for the place overall.

My partner is Polish but is not vegan and she was very impressed with the food here. I was very surprised by the quality and rich flavor of the food. I look forward to coming back! If you are visiting and vegan but have never had Polish food I highly recommend!!

Great place to try some Polish dishes - Edit
This is a cool establishment. Lots of hip clientele and busy at lunch. Although Polish cuisine isn't my preferred cuisine, the dishes were prepared well. One of the breaded cutlets of the two dishes ordered was soy, the other seitan which I appreciated for variety. If you don't fancy Polish food, they have several Asian dishes to choose from. Friendly service.

Fantastic find - Edit
We absolutely loved this place. The spaghetti carbonara is really yummy. The vibe is casual and we enjoyed a few drinks after our meal and didn’t feel rushed. Prices are crazy cheap for decent sized portions (38zl for the carbonara & 15zl for a glass of wine). I’d definitely return.

The Vegan Classic in Warsaw - Edit
Traditional dishes in exceptional and highly refined vegan ecipes. The menu features "classics" such as the now-iconic Fried Cutlet, Spaghetti Carbonara, and Vegan Tartare, along with a regularly updated seasonal menu (from the current offerings, I recommend the cheese soup). The staff is dedicated and very friendly, and the place itself feels like a contemporary answer to Poland's iconic "milk bars." The atmosphere is welcoming, and the dishes are prepared quickly. It’s a reliable spot both for Warsaw locals looking for a quick bite after work and for tourists seeking classic vegetarian food at an affordable price.

stay away - Edit
I was the second time. After the first time and the disgusting food, I stated that I would never go back there. Unfortunately, I went back. food poisoning, which I had the next day - I do not wish this on anyone. I do not know why there are so many positive comments, but this place is a mistake.

Simple Polish vegan dishes - Edit
There are lots of vegan places in Warsaw, but most of them seem to offer Asian food - so it was great to find somewhere serving vegan versions of classic Polish dishes. It's a simple, unflashy place with a fairly limited menu - but, at the same time, it's an absolute delight!
Read moreI had the fried cutlet with mash, gravy & sauerkraut, while my wife had the seitan barbecue ribs with potato wedges & coleslaw. Both were excellent in a nostalgic, hearty kind of way. Great value too - the bill for two of us came to little more than 100 złoty (or £20) including a 500ml bottle of beer each. Wholeheartedly recommended!
Pros: 100% vegan, Veganised versions of old-fashioned Polish food, Good value
