Unfortunately, they only accept cash. Had to run to the bank. They have it written on a chalkboard at the entry underneath their ice tea offers - not something you see when you enter. No words on the homepage or the menu..

The location is not exactly one of the nicest spots in Mainz because it's close to the station. But so what? The food is very good, presented in a very appetizing way. The starters, the sushi, the main dish, everything was absolutely delicious (very small exception: the peanut sauce that came with the tofu skewers was a bit bland). My husband, who eats meat, loved the vegan curry with duck. They have a good choice of cold non-alcoholic drinks, too. We will definitely go there again!

Inventive and unusual Asian vegan cuisine - Edit
'Loc' now offers Asian fusion cuisine that is all vegan and very inventive. We tried the lemon skewers with tofu. I expected them to just stuck Tofu and lemons on a skewer - but no! This is a homemade creation, reminiscent of some veg meat that I had in Vietnam. The combinations are nice and different from any other Asian restaurant at least in Mainz. We'll be back to try everything on the menu

I saw this restaurant frequently on my way home last year (they were not vegan back than) and was always interested in going there. When I saw, that they are now completly vegan I went there immediatly and was pleasantly surprised. They offer a great variety of different asian dishes, including sushi and wakame salad (which are one of my favorite dishes). We tried a broad variety of different meals and they were all very delicious. The servers were very friendly and seemed to be excited about offering only vegan food. Prices are moderate, depending on what you choose. The food is although presented in an very artsy way.
