Still very much open and delicious! - Edit
Tucked on the upper floor of a vegetable market in a hutong - loads and loads of vegan options. My friend and I must have ordered 7 different things and all were delicious. Highly recommend the smacked cucumber, fried tofu, and turmeric seeds and dried beans.
Read moreLots of meat dishes too so watch out. The rice cakes are actually Yunnan cheese, so don’t get that if you are vegan. The spring rolls have pork in them too.

The food was okay, but honestly there were only 3 or 4 vegetarian options and are almost the same than in most places (tofu, scrambled eggs and boiled vegetables). The plates are big, we ordered one for each of us and it was more than enough. The price for each plate is less than 50 yuan.

Great aesthetic and a menu with clearly marked veggie options. The aesthetic is also really cute. If you need help finding it - look out for the big mushrooms on the outside! Also a really nice tea selection.

There’s a lot of veggie food options and drinks. You can also specify to not add any meat or fish while placing your order. The restaurant is really cute and aesthetic. The food was amazing, one of the best places to eat in Beijing.

A separate page with veggie dishes - NB 1 was highlighted to be fried in port fat for frying - from yunnan region in China. Cold and hot dishes available from toys and bamboo to shredded potatoes and fried tofu all were super nice and perfect for sharing.
