quiche is to die for

best vegan quiche i’ve ever had by far, tastes indistinguishable from the real thing. coffee is great and the pastries are amazing as well, the croissants do not taste vegan. a gem!

Very cute café!

I had the vegan pistacchio escargot and a chai latte with oat milk. Both were good.

Wide variety of vegan pastries

Combination of vegan and non vegan pastries and savory items. The vegan pain au chocolat was satisfying but a little greasy on the top. The vegan quiche was decent.

Wide variety of vegan pastries

Wide variety of vegan pastries, quiches, etc. I recommend the bacon cheddar quiche, the Not A Babka, the crousti, and the bahn mi.

Pretty good

Some vegan options and friendly staff. Nothing too spectacular-- but a nice place to grab a vegan pastry. Vegan items are clearly labeled. The vegan quiche was pretty good

Beautiful pastries and sandwiches

I am obsessed with the vegan bacon bun. The danishes are also wonderful. And the vegan grilled cheese is very good, albeit terribly expensive (especially if you add a vegetable). Maple lattes also a plus!

Quality vegan treats

If you're like me and about to take the M train for the sexond time in 11 years of living in NYC, there'd better be a damned good reason. If you're like me, that reason would be croissants. If you're like me, those croissants would be vegan croissants.

And what amazing vegan croissants these were. Beautifully flaky exteriors, layered chewy interiors and all the croissant flavours I remember from my pre-vegan days. Monsieur Gus and his team really hit all the right notes. The regular, the almond, and the chocolate almond croissants were all things of beauty, proof that we sacrifice nothing when leaving animals off our plates.

If you're like me, you might not know there are two stops named Myrtle on the M line. If you're like me, you naturally get off at the wrong one and complete the journey on the bus. If you're like me, you appreciate the free transfer and love you some MTA despite their imperfections. If you're like me, you'll find it all worthwhile for these delicious vegan croissants. Bon appetit!

Pros: Good selection of began options, High quality baked goods, Nice staff

Good but not great

I think the place is overhyped. Went there a couple weeks back, and ordered every kind of vegan pastry they had plus coffee. The oat milk they added to the coffee separated into mushy flakes, which I am still puzzled about because it was the same brand (Oatley barista) I use at home and it never separates. As a result, the coffee was extremely bitter and not worth the money. The pastries were nice but a bit too dry and maybe not super fresh? Also not worth $5 a piece. I'd probably get the almond croissant from them again if I'm in the area, but I wouldn't bother driving half across the city for the sole purpose of visiting this place again.

PS. Also, the owner displays some unfortunately strong attitude on social media. It's all fun and quirky until someone criticizes their food. So, owner, if you're reading my review: it's not personal, it's just a review.

Delicious and expensive

The vegan croissants and cheese melts are amazing! I got a danish and I wanted to cry tears of joy.
Iced latte for 7$...my wallet was crying.
The neighborhood is amazing and this spot is definitely gentrifying it, I probably won’t come back but it was a good experience.

Pros: Many vegan options, Located a block away from the myrtle-wyckoff stop, Great quality

Cons: Expensive , Gentrifying business

A cute little shop that has both regular and vegan pastries. The chocolate croissant is incredible!
