Living the gym life starts at home. This mantra is assuredly true, but it would be a downright lie to say that I ordered from here under the pretence of embarking on a rigorous regime of fitness: I wanted a kebab and a burger!
Read moreThese two coveted items were, by some distance, the best of what was a very mixed, and ultimately, lacklustre order. In fact, it’s no exaggeration to say that they alone dragged this dining experience from being instantly forgettable to passable. Both were of an adequately ample serving size, and each equally delivered on the sapidity, balance and satisfaction you’d expect/crave from such hearty foodstuffs.
As for the rest, meagre portions of uninspiring fodder is the probably the kindest summation that I can conjure. I will concede that the peanut butter energy balls were a toothsome bite, but not enough to warrant rave reviews.
If this is an indication that the path to long term gains built on the ability to subsist on size-shy servings of mediocre nourishment, then it’s not journey I’ll be embarking on. However, despite the naysaying, I will more than likely return here for my favoured items as they were strong enough to warrant a repeat visit.
