A vegan marketing ploy? Perhaps - Edit
I’ve been wanting to try Levain’s ever since they came out with the vegan version since the concept seems enticing overall. The cookies are expensive (like $6 each?) the texture was pretty off, obviously can’t compare it to the original but it was pretty crumbly, but keeping in mind this is also GF its not too surprising. Probably won’t get it again but worth trying.

Waste of money - Edit
I knew it would be overrated but still gave it a try… well, I was right. First of all, the fact that the vegan cookie is more expensive than the regular ones is just a no-brainer. Also, they don’t have any WiFi. Wouldn’t go back. I paid 10+ dollars just for a cookie and a coffee.

I believe the bakery should revisit this recipe and make some adjustments to improve the texture and overall flavor of the cookie. It has the potential to be a delicious vegan treat, but it needs some refinement.
