Best place in Lyon - Edit
I had the BEST brioche au sucre ever. I used to eat this before going vegan and theirs brought back all the memories from that time, priceless! Everything is absolutely delicious.

We stopped here for a late lunch. The selections were dwindling but we loved everything we ate. The tofu sandwich had a unique slaw inside and a nicely seasoned ciabatta-type bread. The quiche was served in large slices and had lots of veggies inside. For dessert we had a citrus tart and one of the glossy bombs, and both were excellent. We also had a chocolate croissant, which didnt hit the mark for me. I would definitely eat here again.

De passage à Lyon pour le Slam Dunk Festival, j'avais fait mon petit repérage d'adresses sur les réseaux avant le grand départ. Une chose était sûre, j'allais tester le brunch des Belles Âmes !
Read moreAutant vous dire que je n'ai pas été déçue, c'est sans aucun doute ma meilleure expérience de brunch vegan ! J'ai opté pour le café philtre en boisson et le café était absolument incroyable, quant à la nourriture, un FESTIN !
La tartelette de saison était incroyable avec sa petite crème au romarin (ou au thym je ne sais plus pardon), le croissant était divin (j'étais dégoutée d'arriver trop tard pour repartir avec des viennoiseries, parce qu'elles avaient l'air incroyable), la soupe froide avec son granola salée était une belle découverte alors que je ne suis pas du tout fan du gaspacho et la petite coupelle de fruits frais et granola était une touche de fraicheur très appréciable
C'est un sans faute complet et je vais être honnête, je retourne au slam dunk cette année et j'espère de tout mon coeur pouvoir revenir aux belles âmes

We quickly stopped by Lyon for a short break when driving through France and we had to try as much as possible as everything looked so good! Huge amazing croissants for €1.20 🤩 Great pain au chocolat, wonderful lemon meringue cake and delicious chocolate mousse cake. Now we have to plan a trip to Lyon just to eat here again!

I really liked the choices of the food. The atmosphere at the cafe was relaxed and welcoming. Staff speaks English and the prices are fair. I really liked the foccacia tofu and the chocolate brioche. The coffee brioche was not so much my cup of tea. But I am not a cream fan. I had a golden kurkuma drink. If I will ever be in Lyon again, I will be definitely back again. That was a delicious and great start in the day.

When petit colibri closed we were very sad but les belles âmes fills the whole they left. Super delicious patisserie and perfect classics like croissants, as well as salty options like the quiches and sandwiches. It makes me happy to see this place busy 😌
