Le Petit Monstre - Edit
The cruffin didn't match my own taste for texture, and I would've liked some filling, but it was good. My friends liked their food for the most part. The place is good and spacious with a nice bathroom. Expensive place, though

Fun Concept - Edit
French bakery shop in Brooklyn. Staff was kind and there was a lot of room to sit and work. Not too many pastry options but a good selection. We ordered the cheddar pretzel dog, guava cheese croissant, the cruffin, and the blueberry cheesecake. Cheddar pretzel dog was our favorite - really flavorful. The guava cheese croissant was also really good! The cruffin was a little hard to eat and the cruffin itself was lacking flavor. The blueberry cheesecake was good but it was almost a little gelatinous. They also have a menu of made to order breakfast foods. We would return!

Amazing - Edit
Everything we had here was delicious - savory tart, croissant with cheddar and sausage, mushroom pastry, veggie quiche. These pastries were not just the best vegan pastries I have ever eaten, they were the best, period. I don't know how they get such flakey pastry (when most other vegan pastry is somewhat dense or leaden).
Read moreIt is worth a special trip to Clinton Hill in Brooklyn to eat here. However, the hours listed on the website apparently don't reflect reality. We wanted to have lunch but were told the kitchen closed at noon, every day!! It wasn't a hardship since the savory pastries were amazing but we had hoped to get a vegan grilled cheese and caesar salad. We'll definitely be back!
Pros: Flakey, unbelievable croissants and pastry, Wide variety of sweet and savory pastries
Cons: Kitchen closes at noon (but bakery is open), Need to update hours info on website

Amazing vegan pastries -- and right next to a Citibike station - Edit
Ok -- you rode to Brooklyn on a Citi Bike, and if you did as I did, on the non-electric variety. Yup, right up those steep bridge inclines. That should be rewarded when a nice vegan croissant, right?

Nothing less than 5 STARS. ⭐️ - Edit
Easily one of if not the BEST vegan bakery in Brooklyn. Could say New York. We’ve been around and back, and this place absolutely blows my mind.
Read moreThe croissant sausage egg and cheese? CMOOOONNNN. That is UNREAL. It was ample in size and even more ample in flavor.
Also purchased the pistachio croissant and the original glazed donut and each one were KNOCK OUTS.
I can’t wait to come back and eat my way through. I’m not kidding. This place KNOWS what they’re doing.
Vibe was also really great. Went on an early Sunday morning - minimal people, if any. Really spacious with lots of light. Really cute and lots of seating.

Unreal pastries and so many options! - Edit
I went here in November and was so excited to try the vegan pastries. They did not disappoint! My partner (veggie) and I both had the bacon, cheese croissant and it was probably one of the best things we ate in New York! I know it’s a little far out from Manhattan but it is 100% worth it. We also bought some of the sweet pastries to take away and they were all amazing too!

Having eaten many traditional croissants in France in the past, these have exactly the same beautiful buttery flaky texture.

Great selection in a great space - Edit
Tried a couple pastries and there were all good to great. The savory pastries were a standout to me. Some of the sweeter ones lacked that buttery flavor that you’d expect in flakey pastry. Overall it was amazing to find so much variety and so many great hits.

Top notch vegan pastries, lively vibe - Edit
Well I already love Clementine bakery, and the pastries here are pretty much the same, so I have to show love to this location as well. I have visited once (I don't live in NY) and found the space very bright and welcoming, not too loud, but lively, with several groups chatting. I got my favorite- almond croissant, and it was just the right texture, not too soft, and not too sweet. I also got a matcha beverage and had no complaints. There was a pretty broad selection of different pastries available, too, maybe a dozen? I didn't check out their savory items or other menu items. Prices are on the higher end, but typical for NYC, $7 for a filled croissant. I would absolutely return.

We arrived just before 1, and lots of bakery items were sold out which was disappointing! We had to wait a little while for a seat too as it was quite busy, lots of people with laptops doing work….

Where to start. The selection was overwhelming, the place was cozy and they even had reduced cinnamon bun from the day before that were as good as the fresh ones.
