Serves meat, vegan options available. Inside the Rolex Learning Center offering healthier food, smoothies. Vegetarian and vegan meals and dessert options labeled. Open Mon-Sun 9:00am-6:00pm.
Has plant based milks for an upcharge and some packaged snacks. Might have a couple of vegan meal options, depending on the day. None of the fresh backed goods are vegan and the labeling could be better
They couldn't have chosen a more perfect café for a learning centre. Honestly, the food here is great. It is a bit pricey and they serve everything in plastic, so I would recommend bringing your own cutlery, etc... If you're studying in the Rolex, I would come here :)
Before anything else, you must be aware that this place doesn't take credit cards (or at least not French cards), so make sure you bring cash.
This is a self-service University cafeteria, which offers "healthy" soups, salads, sandwiches, warm dishes and desserts; with vegan options in all of them.
The price labels do not indicate whether the plate is vegan or not, it just includes the allergens (e.g., gluten, dairy). However, in the recipient tag the word "Vegan" is written, along the ingredients.
I took a chili with beans as main, and a matcha tapioca as dessert. The chili was great, the tapioca was too hard for my taste, and missing a bit of flavor. Portions were fair.
For a cafeteria, I found the prices to be a bit high; but I guess it's like that in Lausanne.
In any case, there is no other clear vegan option at EPFL, so if you're around, this is a safe bet.
