very limited options

the bread was really good but none of the pastries are marked vegan. i had the mushroom soup which was good but not great, it was one of the very few options available so i just went for it.

Faroe Island Salmon

Don’t eat here! This place has a few vegan options, but it’s awful that they specifically serve “Faroe Island salmon” as an entree as if that’s a desirable thing. Last summer, in the Faroe Islands, 1400 dolphins, a whole superpod of dolphins including mothers and babies, were slaughtered on one day on a bloody beach. An incalculable loss of biodiversity and familial bonds. A really senseless and SLOW slaughter with knives on the beach. Video shows the animals suffering. They’re very social animals and saw their family being killed all around them. Gruesome beyond words. They also kill pilot whales by the hundreds every year. They can’t even eat much of them. The meat is tainted. It’s a barbaric tradition and their fisheries, and anyone who supports their fisheries, should not be supported by anyone who cares even a little about animals or the planet.

Pros: Some vegan options

Cons: Serves Faroe Island salmon

very few vegan options

when I went for brunch (June 2021), there were very very few vegan options. you could get a veggie chili without cheese (very bland), mushroom soup without cream, or gazpacho. that's it. fresh bread was included with the meal, which was really delicious. it looks like they had real vegan options at some point, but not now :(

The Vegan pancakes!!!

Great spot, spacious, lots of seating. They have delicious vegan pancakes as well as savoury dishes like stuffed peppers and their veggie burger which is very good and rich. Their dishes are very big (other than the stuffed pepper from my experience) and you will take leftovers home.
