al netto che forse credo di aver sbagliato i piatti perché vedo solo cinque stelle io di quel seitan ci sono rimasta male, me l’aspettavo buonissimo e invece no, forse aspettative troppo alte? e poi fra il timballo di porro (preso io) e le polpette zucca e patate ha vinto a mani basse la polpetta, quindi non fatevi mai consigliare da me cosa mangiare però ci torno qui perché la lista dei vini è ottima il menù cambia sempre e le proprietarie sono carine

Read moreThe two sisters with daddy 90 chef makes you feel at home. The menu changes every 10days and it is all vegan. They have 2-3 appetizers, 3 pasta or risotto, 3 second course. I ate the "suppli" (typical Roma dish) it was amazing. We also had pasta with mushrooms and it was amazing. If there is "pasticcio" definitely don't miss it. We ate one with potato and it was amazing. The eggplant ball very good as well and also the eggplant "marinate. The "cicoria" vegetable is also typically from Rome and spice so also recommended. Price is also something very good. We spent 30 euro with drink and we take almost 2 dish each.

This family run restaurant offers delicious food. I had a primo, secondo and dolce. My favorites were the spaghetti con tonno and pesche con gelato...omg so delicious. Not to mention the staff are incredibly kind.

We were greeted with a glass of prosecco before Barbara read the menu for the evening. The staff were so friendly and happy to help, the food and wine were superb and very reasonably priced. The music and atmosphere was lovely, a must visit.

We visited this restaurant in December. In a nice and cosy environment we savoured some great Italian classics fully vegan made. We had Amatriciana and pesto di pistacchi as first course, brasato and tortino di carciofi as second course. Everything was truly exceptional!

My favorite of the restaurants I ate at in Rome. Great service despite the language barrier (knock on the front door if it looks closed), great food and very reasonable prices too - you won't get ripped off for a bottle of sparkling water here. Worth making your way out of the tourist center to visit.

Don’t Miss - Best meal - Edit
This was hands down the best meal in the 2 months I spent in Italy and maybe ever. I will remember this meal for the rest of my life. This felt like a very foodie experience, the ingredients are fresh, the flavor combinations are incredible and the owners are the most lovely people. We were the only tourists in the restaurant. The atmosphere is gorgeous and cozy. Cannot stop raving about this spot.

Read moreThis was the best food we ate in our whole trip and perhaps the best food I’ve ever had in my life! Make sure to order a first course (typically pasta - my recommendation is the carbonara) AND a second course, as is typical of Italian cuisine.
Le Bistrot is quite far from the tourist centre of Rome but definitely worth the journey. Take the Metro to Garbatella and then a 10-15 minute walk (or 3 minutes on an e-scooter if you’re into that). We sat outside a bakery/cafe across the road and had a pastry and coffee while we waited for it to open at 8pm.

We had pasta cacio e pepe & pacheri vegamisu! All was delicious. Only thing to improve is the waiting time, but as the food is delicious it worth it. The place is cosy and the staff very friendly. Thank you !

The two sisters who run this delightful restaurant are super kind and deliver an excellent dining experience. Though their restaurant is fairly small and border line fine dining, the experience feels like you are eating in the best of fine dining establishments with staff that cares about your experience and by the end feels like a friend. The menu is setup as a multi course affair, but my family was challenged to complete an appetizer, first course, shared dessert and still be able to get ourselves home for the night. Portions were good sized and everything we ordered was delicious.
Read moreI read some of the other reviews and noticed some said things to the effect it was worth the wait. Our entire dinner experience took about 2 1/2 hours, but we never felt we were waiting or that service was lacking. The transition from each part of the meal was timely and felt natural. The staff were very attentive and helpful.
It also appeared the majority of the clientele were local which speaks to the quality and consistent performance.
It was an overall great dining experience and all I can really say is Wow! And thank you!
PS Definitely all vegan 12/2019.

We love this place, you immediately feel at home, cuddled by the warm welcome of the two wonderful sisters who run the hall with professionalism and heart, cuddled by the kitchen run by their father and son-in-law who prepares excellent vegan cuisine with a particular attention to the Italian tradition but which always has some news on the menu to try.

I ordered the pistachio gnocchi and my boyfriend had the carbonara. All vegan and delicious! (The gnocchi was slightly better and more creamy) The owners were super welcoming and the atmosphere was cosy with good music. Highly recommend! Also dogs welcome.

This place is amazing! It has a super authentic Italian restaurant feel but all the food is vegan despite it being classified as a vegetarian/ vegan restaurant. But yes the whole menu is vegan! It is a bit of a walk from the nearest metro but is worth it! Definitely go!! Oh and the prices.... so perfect!

Parlare solo della cucina sarebbe riduttivo per un locale come questo,dal clima accogliente e con due proprietarie di una squisitezza sopraffina. Un luogo fuori dal tempo e dallo spazio,pieno di energia positiva, in cui gustare cibi vegani preparati a regola d'arte e in cui fermarsi a scambiare quattro piacevolissime chiacchere con due persone che si vede chiaramente che mettono cuore e passione in ciò che fanno.

Amazing vegan food, relaxing atmosphere - Edit
The food was amazing. Most of the menu options are now vegan, with a few vegetarian dishes. You can also choose gluten-free meals. The staff was superbly friendly, going out of their way to help us figure out the italian menu and suggest things. The atmosphere was cosy and relaxing, and so was the music. Definitely worth a visit, but be sure to make a reservation first, because you might not get lucky as a walk-in.

Read moreThe two owners are very nice and will explain the menu to you, if needed. We tried the Spiced Chickpea Patties to start which were very good. We also had the pear/ginger risotto and a pasta with zucchini. The pasta was very good; I wouldn't order the risotto again as the pears were kind of an odd combination.
It is good to find veggie restaurants like this in more residential areas.
