I have eaten here many times and the food has always been good. Today's meal of the day was a bowl of creamy tomato soup followed by the main plate which included a green salad, a grain salad, mixed grilled veggies and two garbanzo croquettes. There was also a small fruit based dessert and a juice drink included. The meal of the day in July 2025 currently costs 23,000 pesos ( 1500 pesos if you pay with a card). They have three tables outside and one or two additional tables inside.

Las Veganas is a great place to try a vegan bandeja paisa. The serving is generous and they substitute the meat components instead of just leaving them off the plate. We also tried a huge tamal and empanaditas. The family who owns the restaurant are very nice and the food is really affordable and tasty.

So I had brunch—almost noon, haha—at Las Veganas in Medellín, and it was awesome! I got the Calentado Paisa, this rice and bean thing that totally reminded me of home, with scrambled tofu and an arepa.😋🤤 The arepa's kinda plain on its own, but with everything else? Amazing! 🤩 I even added avocado and vegan chorizo, and no regrets. 💯

I also got the carrot-coconut cake, and unlike so many vegan cakes that fall apart, this one was super moist. Seriously good! 🍰🎂
The service was great, tons of space, even outdoor seating. If you're nearby, vegan, or not, you gotta check it out. 🍹🥂

Lugar poco ostentoso pero la comida es deliciosa y la dueña es muy amable. El día que fuimos no teníamos mucha hambre, así que solo probamos las empanadas de papa y la choripapa, ambos platos estaban muy ricos. Recomiendo la kombucha de flor de Jamaica, estaba deliciosa.

For those that don’t know bandeja paisa is a Medellín staple, it’s nice to have a vegan version of it available. It was so fresh and delicious, not at all dry like some other vegan ones I’ve had. I also tried the seitan and it was marvelous. The lady working there was also full of love and very kind. Highly recommend

I really enjoyed all the options I had at Las Veganas! It is a small restaurant led by some very friendly women who prepare everything themselves. If you can, treat yourself with a menu del dia which always consists of a soup, a healthy main dish, a small desert and a drink. However, if you don't fancy this I can also recommend the Seitan a la Plancha. It is a vegan steak with potatos, avocado, and a salad and it is delicious!

We got the Bendeja for 28,000 and it was ok. The service was also very slow and they forgot to give us lemonade which was supposed to come with the dish. We felt it was quite expensive for what you get.

I had few items from the menu. They also offer menu del dia for 22000 (5,5$) which includes main dish, soup and drink. It is a hare Krishna place, offers plenty of Colombian dishes. Everything was super tasty. Card payment is available.

La comida de este sitio es muy deliciosa y variada, con muchas opciones veganas, nos ha encantado. El problema es que hay mucha tardanza en recibir los platos, la última vez calculamos y hasta casi 2 horas, llegamos al medio día y ya era la 1:40pm y nada que recibíamos, de por sí ya veníamos con hambre y esto generó una mala experiencia. Muchas veces aunque la comida sea buena, se prefiere una mejor atención. Se entiende aue a veces la comida puede tardar, pero casi dos horas, ya es demasiado tiempo. Todo esto lo comento como sugerencia, la señora que atiende es muy amable, sólo es ese punto, la tardanza.
