Vegan bakery, serves pastries, salads and foccacia. Some of the stuff very tasty, but the cold foccacia with zucchini and olives unpalatable, we couldn't manage to eat it.

A dream come true! - Edit
Land & Monkeys - wow! A bakery where everything is vegan, and where there are so many items on display - I just wish there was a branch where I live! I had such a hard time to decide what I want to try!
Read moreEverything I have tried in several of their outlets was at least good, many things were outstanding.
I have tried several quiches, but wasn't too impressed. For savoury, I can really recommend the sandwiches, they are great, filling and such great value (mediterranee, fermier, banh mi).
For pastry, the pain au chocolat was very good, the chocolate brioche as well. The browkie was excellent, and the tarte au chocolat to die for!
The eat-in prices are higher than take-away, but still very good value! I guess that they aren't more expensive than non-vegan bakerys/patisseries.

Excellent range of delicious pastries - Edit
This was the fourth branch of Land&Monkeys we visited on our trip (in just five days!) And just like the other branches it was excellent! It had the usual huge range of savoury and sweet goods and this branch had lots of seating downstairs, upstairs and outside.

The quiches were both very tasty and had good textures. The bread in the petit pain and sandwich was soft and fresh and the fillings were very tasty. The lemon cake was nice and dense with a strong lemon flavour and the apple turnover was also very good. The croissant was rich and buttery. We bought the macarons as a gift so I didn't get to try them but they went down very well!
This chain has such a good range and everything we've tried is so good, I would definitely recommend it!

They had an unbelievable selection of food. Tons of sandwiches, baked goods, etc. I was there for an hour and there was a steady line but it moves quickly. Will accommodate if you speak english. Seemed like there was seating upstairs as well.

Oltre a vari tipi di pane Land&Monkeys propone una vasta scelta di opzioni per colazione, pranzo e merenda: bevande calde e fredde, cookies, viennoiseries, torte, focacce, panini farciti, quiche, insalate... tutto 100% vegetale. La qualità del cibo è eccellente e l'offerta ampissima, avrei voluto comprare tutto! Si può ordinare il cibo da consumare sul posto o da portare via (con prezzi più bassi!). Anche il rapporto qualità-prezzo è buono, i prezzi non sono troppo alti tenuto conto delle porzioni e dell'uso di sostituti vegetali in alcune preparazioni. Super consigliato!!!

Great selection of baked treats - Edit
I came here for breakfast twice and was not disappointed by any of the food. The cinnamon roll was more like a cinammon knot. It was lovely and soft in side with a good crust on the outside. Some of the edges were gloriously crispy. The flavour was great too, well balanced without being too sweet or too strongly spiced.
Read moreI also got the azahar which just looked too good to turn down. There was a buttery pastry case that crumbled perfectly as you put a spoon through it. There was a pistachio frangipan type thing in the base and a layer of meringue. There was a pistachio jam type thing in the middle on the top. It tasted good and the textures were great but the flavours didn't really wow me. I'd have liked a bit more of a pistachio hit. The cafe latte was nice and a decent sized cup.
I went back another day and got the citrus and meringue tart and a babka roll. The tart had the same great pastry as the azahar and the filling had a good consistency and was good and sharp. There was also sweetness from the lemon filling and the meringue to make a well balanced treat.
The babka roll was a lot like a classic cinnamon roll but with lots of hazelnuts in there. It was perfectly baked and had a great light texture with a nice bit of crust on the outside.
I got a couple of the peanut caramel chocolate cookies to take away. They were quite decadent. The cookie was very soft and the sticky nutty filling on top made for a good treat.
I enjoyed all the food and would love to go back and try some more things. Everything on display looked great.

I was in Paris for 3 days for a conference and went to a Land & Monkeys every day - but this one at Les Halles is the best. EVERYTHING is vegan, you’ll feel likw you’re dreaming when you walk in. I had the pain au chocolat, baguette, mini lemon meringue pie, olive bread, bahn mi sandwich and tartatin. They also have quiches and lots of other cakes and pastries. CANNOT RECOMMEND IT ENOUGH.

Es ist ALLES vegan! 😍🌱 Wir waren während unserer Aufenthalts in Paris mehrmals in verschiedenen Filialen. Von Pain au Chocolat, Cappuccino, Sandwiches, English Muffin, Brioche Roll Chocolate gibt es alles. Und alles war sooo lecker. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Going by the reviews I was expecting something somewhat extraordinary. Especially since I am from Germany and not France I was hoping for French pastries that just tasted French. Before I was vegan I went to French pastries all the time so I am aware that they taste completely different from what we are presented with in Germany as "French" and therefore I was really looking forward to experiencing that taste again. I bought a pain au chocolate and something that I forget the name of (see in the picture). The pain au chocolate was alright. Not bad but not great either. The other item was kind of try with - for my taste - way too much what tasted like Pesto and the broccoli was burnt. It's honestly a pass for me. But the upside was that the pricing was decent for what you got.

I stayed in Paris for a week and this place was on the same block as my apartment. I stopped by several times and the staff was always helpful. Once, I ordered a number of items. After I paid, she realized she'd forgotten to charge me for the baguette so she gave it to me as a gift which was really kind.

We’re a family of vegans and this was heaven in the 1st arrondissement. We had many trips here during our stay, the pastries and breads through to the breakfast sandwiches, it was all delicious.

This is literally what every vegan dreams about. A fully vegan bakery / deli / Cafe that serves amazing quiches, delicious pastries, and full on homecooked style meals, all for an affordable price.

In our opinion the best things were the vegan quiches, the bakery section and hot meals.
The only thing that did disappoint a bit was the sandwiches which could do with more filling, and the lemon meringue tart was okay but not worth the price.
But overall an amazing place, we went back so many times! ✨

What every vegan craves in Paris - Edit
Absolutely perfect. Awesome range of cakes and savoury baked stuff in a nice off Main Street setting. It feels Parisian and you can sit and chill with a coffee and a cake just like everyone else, while knowing the animals are safe 😃

Read moreUpdate - I have been twice since it’s opened. It’s got a great selection of quiches, sandwiches and pâtisseries. Great location - I wish it was open when I was living in Paris but I will always go back when I visit! Only complaint is they don’t seem to do the same lunch deal they do in other locations
