Excellent tacos and burguers - Edit
We ordered a burger and a variety of tacos, it was exquisite. The name of the place "Yaqueria" is a play of words for taqueria (taco place) and Yaca (Jackfruit). The mix of flavors of the food is really a delight and the chilli is great! Want to come back here :)

Best experience in Tulum - Edit
My boyfriend and I loved the food so much that we asked the owners, Vane & Isra, if they would be willing to teach a cooking lesson. It was such a fun experience. We waited until our last couple days to go to La Yaqueria, and once we tried it we went back for dinner and then for breakfast the following day. If you have an opportunity to ask about a cooking class I highly recommend it. It was the highlight of my trip.

Cute little taco shop. We tried 5 different tacos and all were amazing. Favorite was the pulled jackfruit. The green sauce (avocado and Serrano pepper) was incredible. Went back for breakfast and just as tasty. Accepts cash and credit card (with additional 4% fee).

Home made plant based burger, highly recommended! - Edit
We had the pleasure of enjoying a home made burger, and it was absolutely perfect. The flavors were spot on, and the sourdough bun it came on was exceptional. What stood out even more was how fresh and healthy everything tasted. You can truly sense the passion of the owners in everything they do. It was simple, honest, healthy, and incredibly good. Highly recommended!

Hidden Gem! New favourite spot 🫶🏼🌿✨ - Edit
We were SO happy to find this new fully vegan restaurant in Tulum and so excited to try it out since it was so close to where we live. La Yaqueria did not disappoint! The food is so delicious and flavourful. Some of the best in Tulum! It’s healthy, feels home cooked and the chef has been vegan for 10 years, which reflects in the quality of the food. We will 100% be back and recommending this spot to everyone we meet! The owners are so lovely and accommodating, and are overall beautiful humans creating authentic Mexican food from a labour of love. We tried the tacos, the burgers, and the sweet potatoes side and everything was delicious!! Homemade sauces and homemade cheeses too 👌🏽 🤤
