La vegana means the vegan woman in Spanish. So imagine my surprise when i discovered that it was in fact: not vegan.

Read moreThey have a big selection of menus. I ordered a big plate but it was too much for me. So maybe consider ordering a small one if you generally don‘t eat huge portions. I think they underlined all the allergens in their menus and when I asked about a meal they said everything is vegan. Not sure why it‘s marked as a vegetarian restaurant.

We tried two of their rice noodle bowls with mock meat and a lot of fresh veggies + vegetable tempura. Super delicious but the portions were huge - even though we both eat a lot, we didn't manage to finish everything (other people around us seemed to fight with the size of the dishes). So if you are really hungry, searching for somwthing east asian and this for a fair prize, try La Vegana :)

We enjoyed our meal here. The serves are quite generous as is the protein put in each dish. They put a variety of fixings in each dish which I really enjoyed. There is lots to choose from on the menu and it seems like a popular place as it was quite full when we went. Shame they just don't ditch the mochi containing milk as everything else is vegan.

This is one of few restaurants in Warsaw where you can actually sit and chat in a nice looking place. Most of the vegan options in Warsaw are bars.

So end result was that I wasted 105 Zloty.
Service quick, good Enlish skills.

La vegana is a super cosy vietnamese restaurant, and we didn’t have to wait long for anything. The menu has tons of options, it was difficult to choose ! Everything we had was truly tasty.

Amazing food but service could be better! - Edit
We had 2 mains and 2 starters which were all fantastic! We had a mixture of noodle dishes, tempura, and pancakes and all were really impressive.
Read moreHowever service was fairly poor, one of our dishes was missed and took 20 minutes to arrive after flagging with staff - who failed to offer an apology or any sort of courtesy drink/ token discount to make up for the delay.
