It calls itself vegetarian but is all vegan and oh my, what a feast we had.
Starting with Nachos and spring rolls, then a wrap with seitan, moussaka, and the mushroom lasagna. The lasagna was a bit underseasoned and instead of a sauce hat "only" vegan cream added. But the moussaka was the best I've ever eaten.
And then the tiramisu - this was a culinary paradise 😋
The service was very friendly and attentive. Portions are good, you don't leave still hungry.
We will certainly be back soon
Pros: Comida fresca y deliciosa Fresh & delicious food , buenas porciones / good portions, muy buen servicio / great service

Kitchen slow and one waitress. - Edit
There are 7 tables occupied for one waitress, and there is a weird smell coming from either the street or inside the restaurant. She’s swamped and could not come to us for too long. the falafel is fried and has no savory taste. The croquets are fried too, my bad. Should have known. Oh and then the nuggets. Fried and bland. In all fairness there are salads and burgers too. The waitress should not have to cover the whole restaurant, including bussing the tables as well. If you read my other reviews, you know that I always fall in love with a place and always try to look on the bright side when things are not perfect. But in this case,I won’t be back.

Really good food!!! - Edit
The place has a daily menu with a starter, a main, and desert or coffee for just 12 euros. I have to say that I tried the salmorejo and the vegetables fideuá and they were both amazing! They have some traditional Spanish dishes like these two but also burgers, salads, lasagnas, moussaka, and some tapas. It has tables outside which is great to enjoy the peaceful city and the lovely weather.

Menu of the day - Edit
We ordered from the set menu of the day which cost €12 for three well sized portions. 5 out of 6 of the options were vegan and the 4 we tried were absolutely delicious. I can’t recommend the coleslaw and the lasagne enough. Definitely worth a visit.

Variado y delicioso - Edit

Huge portions! - Edit
La Tastaolletes is a vegetarian restaurant offering a lot of vegan options (mostly with soy involved). Portions are huge, so pay attention to what you ask for! Baked potatoes are really great, and of all the things I've tried the only thing I wouldn't repeat is the lasagna. But the rest was really good!

Delicious flavours - Edit
Popular restaurant with nice vibe. Nice selection of tapas, mains, salads, desserts. Friendly waiter. Had the rice paper rolls to start and enjoyed them thoroughly... amazing peanut coconut sauce. The tropical rice salad was perfect with coconut milk, mango and avocado. The brownie was fluffy, perfect flavour and lots of vhoc sauce and soy cream ❤ Had a bite of the curry lasagna which was amazing.

Unfriendly - Edit
The first time I went to this restaurant, I really liked it. The food was good and the waiters were helpful. But now I went there again and I even reserved a table, but we were placed at a table, where one person had no option but to sit a bit in the way so that there was less space for the waitress to pass through. She then seriously told us, that we should change seats so that the person who "needs the least space" sits there. We stared at each other and hoped we understood it wrong, but she even returned after a few minutes and asked if we could change seats NOW. We asked for an other table, but she refused. Then we left.
Read moreIf I reserve for 3 people they should give me a table, where we can sit, no matter if we are skinny or a bit chubby (My friend is definitely not fat). This is just extremely rude and I will definitely not go there again.

Went 2 September 2014 with my partner. Great take on guacamole with nachos as starters - delicious. Moussaka and mushroom lasagne for our mains, we loved them. Didn't really have room for desserts but ate them anyway - carob tiramisu and cheesecake with red berries. Both lovely.

Fresh lovely food - Edit
Good quality vegan food! I was spoilt for choice and ended up picking a really amazing salad with mango which was presented so nicely that I didn't want to spoil it by eating it! The Paella was amazing so many flavours and the vegan apple cake topped the whole meal off! Also try the gaspacho it was the freshest I have tasted in Valencia!!

Very Good - Edit
Delicious food, great service and a nice little restaurant located just on the edge of old town Valencia. The beet hummus and apple and carrot croquetas were our favorites. Prices were decent and there was a good wine list to choose from.

Still nice...but going downhill - Edit
I first tried this restuarant several years ago and have been back several times since. I also submitted a review a few years ago and since have felt the need to update it, as this restaurant has since went downhill from what seems to be 'inside politics'. When I first tried this restuarant maybe 7 years ago, the then staff were extremely friendly (even though we couldn't understand one another) and the food proportions were generous. Unfortunately things went downhill for a while. The staff are less friendly, but still friendly enough. The food is still good, but the proportions are getting smaller with each new visit. But, however, the prices continue to rise. The delicious Ensalada de Algas (Seaweed Salad) used to be a big bowl, enough for two, but now it is barely big enough for one. However, at least it is not the usual boring Italian foods like pasta or pizza dishes so often offered to vegetarians elsewhere. Mousakka is my personal favourite main dish but usually takes a good wait. If you are the kind of person who doesn't need too much to fill up, then give it a go by itself. If, like me, you like your proportions 'man-size', then maybe try a few of the starters too or also have my other favourite, Ensalada de Algas. Try the organic wine. It's lovely.

Good light meals - Edit
We tried this place in 2010, since it was near our hotel. It's a friendly little cafe restaurant in an alley with attractive murals. The food was pretty good but the portions were a little bit on the small side. It's one of those places where you'll want to order sides and dessert to get a decent feed.

Tasty if a little pricey! - Edit
My husband and I ventured across Valencia to visit this establishment and it was well worth the arduous trip. On a Tuesday evening in August (closed on Sunday and Monday), we were immediately seated and handed a menu in English and Spanish. We opted to start with Hummus and pitta, which was smooth in texture and quite flavour-some. We also chose the Falafel with a Tzatzki dip, which were delicious, some of the best we've ever had. For our mains, we had the 'house speciality' of Mousakka, which really was divine and also the ravioli pasta with pesto, which was heavy on the pesto for me, but still delicious. We also ordered the Tabbouleh as an extra dish, which appeared to be experimental and unique, consisting of coconut cream, peach pieces and apple slices, which was not to our liking, unfortunately. For us, there was a lack of mint, parsley, tomoatoes etc, but that's just our idea of Tabbouleh!
Read moreWe ordered 1 green tea but received 2, but didn't bother to complain as the service was overall very good, our waitress being helpful and friendly, despite the language barrier.
The decor is nothing to write home about, but the food and portions more than made up for this.
If and when we return to Valencia, we would probably re-visit, particularly for my husband to taste the seaweed salad, which others have mentioned on here.
Pros: Vegetarian and Vegan dishes, Friendly, helpful staff, Tasty food, well presented
Cons: The prices are a little steep, Quite difficult to locate the restaurant
