I tried the bruschetta with olive spread (very salty!), the calzone pizza and the cannolli for the dessert which did not seemed to be one. And I this place is worthy of visiting only for pizzas. The crust is very authenthic, is tastes good, fresh and light. Recommended, but not for the desserts.

I'm not a great fan of vegan cheeses, but this homemade one was pure awesomeness! Pizza's tastes like the real Italian deal. Also loved the polenta with a mushroom paté, tiramisu and the activism of the place😄

We ordered 4 different pizzas and they all tasted great! It's a very chill/no-frill atmosphere, and a lot of great bars nearby. Would definitely come back!

La Stella Nera's pizza is amazing! - Edit
We ordered pizza, calzone, antipasti, and tiramasu. It was all great. Shocker, the calzone has spice. We wanted pasta but was told that the texture and consistency is not good after 5 minutes. Make reservations and just go. You will not be disappointed!

We have been looking at this place for a while but never had a chance to go there, today we finally passed through the area and decided to have lunch there (by the way it doesn't open at 17.00 like stated in here). Calzone was very good, the polenta fritta was even better and the panna cotta (I forgot to take the pic) even more. We were unexpectedly very happy with everything including the guy who served us who was also very nice. It's a must try even if you are like me and don't love the chewy pizza that much. Honest priced!

Read moreZu beiden Gerichten muss wenig gesagt werden, ich denke die Bewertungen für das Restaurant sprechen für sich und können von mir nur bestätigt werden.
Die Calzone war nicht zu trocken oder zu teigig. Die Füllung war perfekt abgestimmt - lediglich die getrockneten Tomaten waren etwas zu salzig und könnten zB zerkleinert in die Calzone gegeben werden. Die Pinienkerne auf der Bianco verleihten der Pizza einen besonderen Geschmack (ich liebe aber auch Pinienkerne).
Der Pizzaboden und der Calzoneteig waren einfach nur perfekt gebacken und schmecken genauso lecker, wie sie auf den Bildern aussehen. Leider eine Seltenheit so gut gebackene Pizzen zu bekommen. Entweder ist der Boden zu teigig oder fast schon ein Keks. Dazwischen gibt es auch noch ganz viel, jedoch sind diese Variationen so unspektakulär, dass sie nicht einmal als negativ abgespeichert werden.
Der selbstgemachte vegane Pizzakäse und Ricotta waren tadellos. Allein dafür würde sich ein Besuch in der Pizzeria lohnen.
Das Personal sowie das Ambiente entsprechen nicht dem "typischen" Pizzeriaflair, sondern geben der Lokalität eine moderne Streetfoodnote.
Da der Andrang mitunter so hoch ist, empfiehlt es sich zuvor einen Tisch zu reservieren oder die Gerichte mitzunehmen und auf dem heimischen Balkon mit Freunden zu genießen.

This is easily the best vegan pizzeria in Berlin, and one of the best pizzerias in the city full stop (my omni friends tell me).
Read moreThe dough is fluffy, the toppings are handmade and diverse, and there are lots of types to choose from - from rosso, bianca, vegan melting cheese, calzone and more. They also have amazing starters (polenta fries!), desserts (tiramisu especially) and pastas and salads. The wines and beers are very good too.
The staff are awesome and have been there forever, there is a punk anti-system vibe about the place with lots of flyers too (they are a cooperative).
Just book ahead, especially on the weekend (they have a contact form on their website and are multi lingual). It’s worth it! If you can’t get a seat, take your pizza to go and eat it on tempelhoferfeld.
