Ein paar vegane Optionen - Edit
Ich war 2023 schon einmal hier und habe jetzt – nach meinem erneuten Besuch – meine Bewertung aktualisiert. Es ist nach wie vor ein angesagtes Café mit ein paar veganen Optionen, was in Nizza leider selten ist.
Read moreBesonders begeistert war ich diesmal von den veganen Waffeln mit Apfelmus und frischen Erdbeeren – wirklich sehr lecker! Auch die vegane Bowl, die ich schon beim letzten Mal hatte, war wieder gut und bunt zusammengestellt.
Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend. Besonders positiv: Selbst bei einem Fehler meinerseits wurde kulant reagiert – das erlebt man selten.
Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt bleibt: Der Aufpreis von 80 Cent für einen Schluck Hafermilch im Kaffee wirkt übertrieben – leider ein generelles Problem in Nizza.
Trotzdem: Ein schöner Ort für ein veganes Frühstück oder eine kleine Pause – ich komme gerne wieder.

We walked past this place and it said vegan friendly on the window, so we walked in. A few good vegan options: chia pudding, pancakes, avo toast in a rosette form, burger and some baked goods (cookies, banana bread) and plant milks. Cute plates and beautifully served. Unfortunately we were in a hurry and it was busy so it was a bit chaotic. Burned my tongue on the first sip of the chai but it tasted really good! The rest as well

Enjoyable food, but not many options - Edit
We had the vegan bowl and vegan "bad boy burger" which were very tasty and had a nice range of ingredients.
Read moreThe "burger" was just a few falafel in an activated charcoal bun which was also gluten free, so not the best item for burger-ing (falafel balls just roll out lol) but the bun was more of a brownie consistency and I resorted to knife and fork to finish it - which I did because despite that it was very nice!
No hate on GF folk, but I think both Vegans and GF people would want a choice of having to have vegan or GF, rather than all in the same menu option.
The Vegan bowl was similar ingredients but in a bowl (quelle surprise) instead of a bun, but with the addition of white rice and a very nice cumin-y hummus. Again, lovely taste and lots of veg for variety.
Beyond that though? there was avo toast. So not many options at all unless you wanted some deserts/pastries that we didn't try.
It came to 35-ish Euro after a pair of soft drinks so a bit higher than many options but was honestly quite nice and I'm not all that upset over the price.
Pros: Fresh and varied ingredients., Tasty hummus!
Cons: Higher price , Not many options , Lumping GF and VG options together isn't ideal imo

The portions were more filling than they looked. Had the vegan pancakes as my main thing but the consistency was not like a typical pancake, rather cake or bread-ish however really tasty.

Schönes Café mit netten Mitarbeiter und einer englischen Karte. Es gab mehrere pflanzliche Milchsorten, vegane cookies und Kuchen auch to go und die Pancakes waren ein absoluter Traum! Avocadotoast hab ich mir einfach ohne Ei bestellt war gar kein Problem.

Yummy vegan pancakes!! - Edit
Came here for brunch on a Saturday and the service was so quick. The waitresses were lovely, very good English, and they had lots of drink choices. I definitely recommend the vegan pancakes, the portion was huge I couldn’t finish it all! A must visit for any vegan or non vegan!

Vegan options labelled, wish for more choice for main and dessert - Edit
A pleasant atmosphere outside the old town with outdoor seating. They have oat, soy and almond milk options for drinks. Some vegan labelled breakfast options including pancakes and avocado toast. One vegan bowl for lunch - tasty but another option would be nice. The veggie burger isn’t vegan but labelled vegetarian and can’t be veganised. There is a labelled vegan cookie but disappointing as the only option in a sea of very impressive looking cakes and tarts. Not sure where the tofu steak and burger option came from in the overall Happy Cow restaurant description.
