Only one vegan pizza but very good - Edit
I had the vegan pizza. Bad thing is, it's the vegetarian pizza without the mozzarella. Good thing is, it was delicious. The pizza dough is mellow, the topping is very good (fresh onions, artichokes, plenty of olive oil, a bit of balsamic vinegar...). I didn't even miss vegan cheese thanks to the guacamole and tapenade.

I recommand.
Pros: Very good , Perfect location , Nice atmosphere
Cons: No vegan cheese, Only one vegan pizza , 17€50

A salad dumped on a pizza - Edit
There is no effort put into this pizza.
Read moreThey are the same at every branch of the chain.
They used to have a vegan burger that was really good. Now they have this uninspired mess.
Worst pizza of my life.

Nice try - Edit
I know this restaurants well. You have two restaurants, one at "La place de la comédie" and one at "Les rives du Lez" area. I suggest to go to the first one if you want to stay in the old Montpellier and the other one for the view on the river.
Read moreThe staff is friendly but I highly recommend to avoid the rush hours, the waiters tend to be under a lot of stress and can be rude/clumsy. I recommend to go on the afternoon, it's one of those (not so many here) restaurants that are open in the afternoon, the waiters are nicer and the food can be 10 or 20% cheaper.
They have two vegan options :
- A vegan pizza...It's pretty but I don't like it, they are no vcheese/creamy sauce so it's dry, there is an avocado and lettuce on top of the pizza that's nice, they are olives tapenade a little of sauce for the salad on the pizza and it make it too acid! Nothing taste bad one by one but all together, that's feel a little funky.
- A vegan burger. I didn't like it because the bread was half dry... (Too hard, like someone didn't close the bag properly, making the bread dry)
Pros: Menu in French and english, easy to read, Nice staff and place, None expensive restaurant
Cons: The food is okay, Noon/2pm and 8pm/9pm are the rush hours, avoid it

Italian restaurant in Comédie square - Edit
Italian restaurant in the middle of Montpellier. It’s big and clean. The menu has labeled the vegetarian options (but there is no specific label for the vegan). It has only one vegan pizza, one burguer, one salad and one pasta, and no vegan desserts. The vegan pizza is without cheese. It’s pricey. I ordered the vegan burguer and it was ok.
Read morePros: Location, Big
Cons: Not clearly labeled for a vegan, one pizza, one burguer, one salad and one pasta, No vegan desserts and no vegan cheese

Good - Edit
I ordered the pizza and it came out quite quickly. It’s not actually expensive for its location and for the food but they aren’t street food prices (because it’s not street food lol). The pizza was tasty; the olive tapenade really made it for me. The avocado is a nice touch. The staff all knew of veganism and were very helpful. They gave me a steak knife to cut the pizza which made the experience quite stressful (!) but it didn’t ruin anything. The square that the restaurant is placed in is alive and open and it’s hard to find a problem with the restaurant when the place is so lovely!
Read morePros: Olive tapenade (on the pizza) was to die for, Very friendly staff that spoke good English, Lovely square
Cons: The avocado was a bit gone off (?), The sauce on the pizza was really unevenly spread

Decent vegan options! - Edit
La Pizza Papa offers a vegan pizza (but no vegan cheese), a vegan burger and a vegan salad. I tried the burger with fries which is completely honest: tasty and generous in size, and the steak is pretty good. The price is maybe a little high but you won't be hungry anymore after eating it. There was no vegan dessert (the sorbets contain milk), which is a pity. They have an happy hour that can be interesting. The restaurant is very centrally located on Place de la Comédie with wide opening hours. Very convenient when visiting the city center.

Cons: no vegan dessert, no vegan cheese, not cheap
