Loved this store for products! - Edit
This is a cafe and store with the usual nuts and seeds you buy buy the quantity. They have heaps of products like oats Nd spreads as well as cold products like tofu and vegan meats. Very reasonable prices and friendly service

Excellent little cafe tucked into store - Edit
The cafe at the back of this health food store has phenomenal bowls. We loved the barley bowl, and also had great success with making our own bowls. Delicious and highly recommended! ♥️

the back corner of the store is full of vegan frozen meats, cheeses, yogurts and more! there is a whole bulk foods section as well and lots of grains. a small place overall but a surprising amount of vegan goods!

I have been living near La Molienda and go there often. They have great coffee, pies, and lots of vegan options in the grocery. The price is good for Montevideo standards. Totally worth it

La Molienda is a perfect place to stop for a snack and a coffee. They have a selection of vegan empanadas- like 4 or 5 options every day, not just 1- and some are salt-free. The dough is whole grain and really good! They also serve coffees with almond milk and you can sit and eat it upstairs. The store also has a selection of vegan food to go, including whole meals, frozen milanesas, cakes, and imported products as well as a bulk section.

Linda tienda con opciones veganas para comer ahí o para take away. Aunque en realidad, hay muchas más opciones vegetarianas que veganas. Part of a chain of stores, this one is right opposite the church, has good selection of vegan and vegetarian items - in particular the spicy tofu empanada was delicious, vegetarians should make sure there are no eggs in items called vegetarian. Not much English spoken. Labels in English with ingredients will be very helpful. This branch is less than 10 meters away from the "Hotei Fo Vegetariana Cucina".
