Durchschnittliches Essen, nicht besser als in einer Kette - Edit

Wir waren so enttäuscht, weil an keinem Ort steht das Self Service ist. Man wird auch nicht darauf aufmerksam gemacht.
Nach 15 Minuten, an dem das Personal an uns vorbei lief, aber nichts sagte, ging ich zur Kasse wo ich meine Bestellung aufgeben wollte und dort stand ich dann gefüllte 10 Minuten.
Ich stand noch weitere drei Male auf um das Frühstück auf kleinen Tabletts zu holen.
Die Bowl ist mit viel Joghurt angerichtet.
Die Croissant schmecken auch nicht besonders.
Wirklich enttäuschend ist die teure heisse Schokolade, wo ich ein Glas Hafermilch mit einem Beutel Caotina bekam.
Es wird gross mit Demeter, alles selber gemacht und Bio geworben, von dem man aber nichts schmeckt.
Wir werden diese Kette niemals mehr besuchen und bestimmt auch nicht weiter empfehlen.
Obwohl wir drinnen (auf zwei unbequemen Hocker) sassen, kamen fünf aggressive Wespen die natürlich mitessen wollten.
Zum Schluss durften wir auch noch zusehen wie die eine Wespe elend starb.
Würde man die Türe schliessen, wäre diese Problem schon behoben.
Wir werden dieses Lokal (Kette) nie wieder besuchen und bestimmt auch nicht weiter empfehlen.
Cons: Sehr lange Wartezeiten und lauter Geräuschpegel , Gehetztes, verhaltenes Personal, Granola schmeckt nicht besonders gut

Great Breakfast Spot Near Basel Main Train Station - Edit
I had the Açaí bowl, power bowl, and PB banana bagel. Place is a short walk from the main station, and central to many sites. With an outdoor patio adjacent and down some steps, which provides a nice scenery, the place is neat. The fruit topped bowls were simple and tasty. The PB banana bagel was topped with a powder sugar and was totally delicious. I will return every time I’m going through Basel.

Pretty good for a café - Edit
I think La Manufacture is the only place in Basel that offers vegan tartines. In case you don't know it, that's sort of an uncovered sandwich you eat using knife and fork. Two of their bowls sound pretty nice as well. The only thing missing for a café is some vegan pastry. On the other hand, their outdoor seating area is quite interesting, arranged around a fountain and on several levels.
