Great "surprise" pizzas! - Edit
Fortuitously ended up at La Finestra after the first three restaurants we tried had either stopped serving food (it was 4.30pm, many Valencian kitchens close between lunch and dinner) or used meat stock in the Vegetable Paella (!!). The bar staff at Copenhagen (which I really hope to visit next time I'm in València) helpfully suggested La Finestra.
Read moreThe food was really excellent! (It was easy on the pocket too) They use in-season, local produce to make delicious mini pizzas (I'm not sure if you can get to choose your toppings - I was happy to have 2 vegan surprises) and the salad was the best I've had (in a restaurant) in a long time!
The vibe is extremely informal, extremely (I'm grand with that). I found it very loud, but, in fairness, I'm very sensitive to noise & I was tired & hungry...
I'd definitely go back!

Nice homemade pizzas without cheese as vegan options. Rather than choosing a pizza, they just bring them to you with a variety of flavours. I like them all!

Quick service. Very casual, no need for booking, nor I think you can.
Good prices as well.

Die veganen Pizzen sind mit unterschiedlichem Gemüse. Zu den Stoßzeiten ist es sehr voll und laut. Man muss eventuell auf einen Tisch warten. Schmeckt dafür aber ausgezeichnet und mit mehreren Personen macht es am meisten Spaß sich die kleinen Pizzen zu teilen. Zu 4. haben wir 8 Pizzen bestellt und waren satt.

My favourite place in Valencia, bustling with locals with small pizzas flying out of the oven constantly. Prices are very cheap and it's a great hangout place. Very recommended.

Ofrecen pizzas vegetarianas (se piden en la barra, ellos van sacando pizzas a su gusto pero si se piden vegetarianas se respeta). Me gusta mucho el sitio por las opciones pero quizá para veganos se queda corto. Vegetarianos sin problema.

I've been here before some years ago and went out of my way to eat at La Finestra. Mini pizza's for only 2,50 each - freshly prepared and vegan. No artificial cheese-crap on top but just awesomely prepared veggies. We ordered 6 pizza's in 3 rounds and got everytime a different topping. So 6 different mini pizza's... I'm in love.

Their pizzas fun, small, delicious and cheap!! And they're open during siesta! As a snack we (2) shared two pizzas, which was enough to delay hunger by a few hours. The pizzas are always a surprise, you only need to specify you want them vegan. Would give 5 stars if it weren't for the weird policy.

Cosy seating, puzzles and books to fill the waiting time, cheap wine and great pizza's. You just ask vegan pizza's at the counter and the chef will surprise you with different flavours. The pizza's are small, so you van try various kinds af once. Great place to go with kids too!

Fun pizza experience - Edit
We enjoyed the ambiance sitting in the entryway. It is a fun experience to ask for vegan pizzas and have the chef make them up and surprise you with the toppings. The crust was incredibly fresh and delicious. Fun experience and such yummy food. The pizzas are little mini-pizzas, so we were able to share a few of them between two of us, and each one was different.
