We came here after a long day of struggling to find vegan options that were open in the late afternoon. I’m so glad we did. It was quiet, the waiter was extremely friendly, the food was very very good. I know poutine is hard to make vegan, but this place did it well. I also had the chef’s bowl which was huge and delicious. Just what I needed after a long day of being hungry!

Stumbled upon this place with my sister. She loved her burger but found the side salad bland. I didn’t enjoy my poutine, but my sister tasted it and liked it. Both were really expensive meals. As for desserts, loved the cookie and the brownie was pretty good too. Cool find!

I appreciate the abundance of clearly-labelled vegan options on the menu. The "bol du chef" (seasoned tempeh, rice, hummus, vegenaise, several types of pickled veg, olives, sprouts) was absolutely delicious, and the generous portion was filling without being overly huge. Reasonably priced drinks and cocktails (I highly recommend the pineapple-passionfruit cocktail was delicious). I love the fact that the food and everything else in the restaurant is zero waste, eco-friendly, and locally sourced - what a great concept!

Zero waste pub with some vegan options on their menu such as poutine, cauliflower bites and brioches. The poutine is convincing. They also have a wide selection of over 20 different beers and offer zero alcool drinks such as lemonade and kombucha. You can even order a pint of kombucha, isn't it great? They also host music shows on certain evenings. Overall, La Cale is a pub that's worth to be known.

Nice pub on the Plaza Saint-Hubert. What is awesome about that place is that it is a zero waste pub. All menu is vegetarian and the vegan items are clearly labeled. The vegan poutine and the falafels are good choices. They have a long list of great beers from local microbreweries. They also have a stage at the back of the pub to do different events (music, comedy, impro, etc.). The service is good and the staff is friendly.
