This little restaurant is not visible from the street so can be missed if you aren’t looking out for it. The setting around the courtyard is tranquil, relaxing and beautiful.
Read moreI got the falafel burger and it was absolutely delicious! It was juicy and the fact you can create your own means you are able to add the flavours your prefer. I would go far as to say that it was the best veggie burger I’ve ever had!
They have a large selection of juices and smoothies. I kept it simple and got the ginger lemonade, very refreshing and was the perfect choice
I wish I found this place earlier in my stay, would have definitely come back if I was staying in Antigua longer.
I’d highly recommend this place. It’s not one to be missed, even if you’re a carnivore

A Must in Antigua! - Edit
I got the eggplant burger and it was absolutely mouthwatering. The ingredients they use are so fresh and delicious. My husband got the bean burger and said O.M.G. when he was done. The courtyard setting was the perfect spot to relax after walking around the city all day.

Beautiful outdoor setting in a shared courtyard off the main street. Two of us came for dinner and had burgers. Loved that you could build your own with different options for both vego and vegan. Food was delicious and fresh and were impressed with the ‘fries’ being hand cut potatoes. Board games was a nice added touch. Great service with a smile :)

I wandered in here looking for lunch, and had one of the most delicious veggie burgers ever! I went for the quinoa, tofu, broccoli burger and was not disappointed. They include 5 toppings of your choice- I got avocado, cheese, fresh tomatoes, and cheese, which came with a side of papas fritas. The ambiance and staff are great, and it’s tucked away in a private garden. Also had a delicious ginger lemonade, opted for no sugar- watched the guy squeeze it fresh! Highly recommend this place and will likely come back before I leave Antigua in a few days.

If you're looking for a vegan restaurant do not go anywhere else. Even though this place is a little secluded you won't regret it. The servings are big and you won't be feeling bloated afterward. Even though La Bruja was about to close a bit earlier the evening I went, I was welcomed with open arms and a wonderful falafel burger was made for me. The falafel burger was really delicious! I'll certainly be back to take some more time to discover what's more on the menu and try some other vegan dishes :)

Convenient to everything in old Antigua, La Bruja nonetheless feels sheltered, tucked into the back corner of a courtyard that houses a few other shops, a doctor's office, and sidewalk vendors with indigenous products. There's a small space to sit indoors, but given that it was a gorgeous day, we sat at one of the outdoor tables.

Although we were the only diners, the wait was longer than average. Turned out the manager/cook/waiter was taking photos of our food. The dishes were pretty, and you can see more of their work on Insta at labruja369. My dish was picture-perfect but a little bland, and we didn't return during our time in Antigua. But still, I'd recommend it for lunch, especially for vegans who have few options in Antigua.
