Caters for vegans!

At last we found food! Having not eaten at the hotel as there was nothing vegan, and failed at the other cafe we’d found on here, this cafe did have food and oat milk. Whilst the chocolate raspberry cake is not the best I’ve ever had, it was what you’d expect. Rather sweet for breakfast but it was good! And they had oat milk! The staff were friendly and patient with my broken German and double checked everything talking slowly for me.

A little confusingly, you queue at the cake stand and choose your cake. You are given a raffle ticket and then you sit at a table. A waitress comes to take your drinks order and returns with your cake and drink. When you’ve finished you take your raffle ticket to the till.

Rather sadly the vegan cake shared a plate with non-vegan. This may not worry some but as I have a dairy intolerance it is quite important for me. But as food has been so difficult to find, we went with it.

Pros: Friendly helpful staff, Has a vegan cake, Has oat milk

Cons: Plate sharing, risk of contamination

Not impressed

The chocolate raspberry cake was okay but quite dry and nothing special. It works if you are craving something sweet
