Kinkura’s staff is as lovely as they say. And the portions are generous - you don’t actually need to order ALL you want. And there is plenty for vegans. They try to label but that’s for vegetarian. When you ask if it’s also all Ⓥ they will say yes and point to the green leaf symbol, but again, that’s vegetarian. For example there are rolls w the leaf-symbol which have cream cheese and that’s the cow kind. Also there are vegan items in the menu which aren’t labeled with the leaf so … they try! I set myself up for success and asked about fish sauce and cream cheese for each dish but I don’t mind doing that if it means no one gets hurt. I can’t believe how much food there was! Portions are huge. Ordered two times what I could eat. Loved the Yam Roll Combo $18 - this is more than enough for one person! Edamame was salty enough! Udon was delicious though pales in comparison to the single style dishes like gyoza and sunamono. Everything was spectacular.

Everything is made fresh.
I didn’t get photos because i ate my food too fast 😭
Pros: Lots of vegan options, Affordable prices, all food is made fresh

Jazz and Sushi - Edit
We found this gem while walking along the Davie street food area. We noticed the grand opening sign and went in. It’s a lovely place with exposed brick with jazz music playing. Super friendly staff, great prices, and vegan options for sushi.
