Incredible from start to finish! - Edit
I wish HappyCow allowed 5 stars. Its a little unfair that this place which is real a gem is not allowed to get the full and proper rating for both the effort and commitment to serve vegan dishes to customers as well as the quality of its offerings.
Read moreKind Bean Cafe has both superb food and incredible staff. Each and every time I eat here the food seems to get better and better. The vegan platter is just delicious and not overwhelming. The seasonings are just perfect and the injera is fresh and super tasty.
While the meal in itself is perhaps the best in the area, the service is top notch and a level higher than many restaurants. The entire experience is absolutely phenomenal. You are greeted and served with a warm beautiful smile. You feel welcomed and appreciated. You kind of feel like royalty and really good about the experience here. Highly, Highly recommend this Incredible place!!

I had the veg half lunch and it was delicious! I selected the yellow split- peas and cabbage. It came with salad and injera. Next time I would like to try the platter. I also ordered an iced coffee tea, which was very good too.

Read moreThis restaurant is a family owned - all the ingredients are made by the mom of the owner back in Ethiopia , and the flavors are soooo good!
Besides the food being the best vegan option in town, Ethiopian or not, the staff being super friendly every time I visited.
I stayed in Sacramento for three weeks, and ended up eating in this restaurant everyday, as the vegan scene in town isn’t good, and this restaurant is incredible for vegans.
Price wise - very cheap. 12$ a full meal.
Pros: Lots of vegan options, Good prices, Friendly staff
