Good food but pricey - Edit
It's small plates and a bit pricey, but good! The aubergine dish was a little too fat & oily for me

Super romantic place - Edit
Candles on every table, dimmed light, delicious vegan food, chill music- it’s the perfect place for a date. The restaurant is small and cozy, the staff is super professional and attentive. The food is delicious and the portions are good. Reservations are recommended (at least for dinner). I had the best arancini ever there. And the pistacio pasta was super creamy.

Would not recommend it. - Edit
If there is one thing I really hate is when people think I’m a fool. I had booked like 2 months in advance a table for 3 at 12:15 pm via TheFork. 2 days before, they call me to say that they changed it to… 4pm. Lol. In which world do people have lunch at 4pm? In Spain perhaps, but we’re in the UK, right? Their excuse was that on this particular day the restaurant would open at 4pm. Then why is this not reflected on Google Maps? The reality is that they lied, they changed the reservation to this “off-peak” random hour because we had a discount with our TheFork booking. Do yourselves a favour, do not go there.

Brutal! Just a heads up, Kin actually offers everyone a discount through the Fork app or if you simply mention HappyCow at any point. I once forgot to mention HappyCow after dining there, and they sorted it out for me later. Perhaps this was just an isolated incident due to the holiday season. Personally, I believe Kin is one of the top vegan restaurants in London, and I’ve never encountered such an issue with them. 🤷🏼♀️

Delicious cheesecake - Edit
Exquisite presentation of the cheesecake and tasted lovely. It was quite subtle with the avocado, lime, and pistachio butter flavors. I’d love to come try the main menu. 25% discount if you leave a review on HappyCow.
Read moreCame back to try their food. The cauliflower steak was really nice in a butter bean mash. It felt very healthy and full of plants but yummy too. Amazing presentation. I got the 25% discount for mentioning HappyCow but there was also a 90p surcharge to pay by QR code. Maybe try to pay with a machine if you can instead to avoid more fees.

Food was tasty enough, needed to ask for salt and pepper though, ordered the hash, and was certainly not what I thought a hash would be.

Kin’s menu is very vegetable forward, which is right up my alley. The flavors of all the dishes were great and my partner and I felt very satisfied sharing a starter, couple mains, and a dessert.

Great sticky tofu - Edit
Lovely menu with a nice variety of dishes. Sticky tofu with carrot humous small plate was fantastic!
Read moreTomato trio was also great, although could do without the pesto - tastes like there’s an odd cheese-type element in it. Also the burata-style on pasta with pesto tastes odd too. Would be 5 stars easily without these cheese-style elements - they taste odd and totally unnecessary on the dishes I had.
Staff are lovely, friendly and helpful.
Pros: Sticky tofu with carrot humous, Friendly staff, Varied menu
Cons: Cheese-style elements

Yummy and cute - Edit
Very small restaurant with a nice cosy vibe to it. Loved the menu and wanted to try all of it. We were a group of 3 and shared small plates to begin with. We ordered the sticky tofu cashew that was incredible, the truffle risotto which was everything we wanted and the courgette pistachio pasta. The later slightly disappointed us as we didn’t really taste the pistachio behind the heirloom tomatoes. The pasta were lovely and super filling but just not what we expected from reading the menu.
Read moreThe lime and avocado cheesecake has more pistachio taste than the pasta with pistachio in the name..
Special mention to their vegan parmesan which tasted really close to the real thing, as somebody who dislikes coconut cheese, this one did not disappoint!
Will come again for sure!
Pros: Great choice of food, Good choice of soft drinks, Cosy vibe
Cons: Pistachio pasta did not have a taste of pistachio, Service was not the friendliest

Amazing food, great ambiance - Edit
Cozy restaurant with amazing food! 100% plant-based. We selected a few different plates to share: bean croquettes, carrot and chickpea dip, sautéed mushrooms and courgette & pistachio spaghetti with (vegan) burrata. Ohhh my, everything was delicious! Would definitely return to this place on a next visit to London.

Best vegan gnocchi & other tasty stuff - Edit
I was taken here on my stag do - there was a group of 10 of us and the restaurant was very accommodating. As it was a long day I was keen to have something quite filling with a good dose of protein, and I'd say that was the only drawback, that some of the main menu options were a bit lacking on that front. So I mixed things up a bit and went for a couple of smaller plates - broad bean croquettes, sticky tofu, and a side of aubergine to share. All were excellent flavour and texture wise, and washed down with a lovely Bloody Mary. The bonus was my friend sat next to me didn't finish his gnocchi with creamy tomato sauce, so I polished that off too - and goodness me it was fantastic.
Read moreI think if I'd looked at the menu for Kin I might not have necessarily chosen to come - but very glad I was taken there, and the omnis round the table enjoyed their food too. Bonus points for catering for a large group very well. Would just want to see a bit more protein added to the mains, be it nuts, beans, whatever😄
Pros: Taste and texture of food, Service, Soundtrack

Very good even if a little pricey - Edit
Kin is in a little posh zone off Tottenham Court Ariadne called Fitzrovia, but though I turned up in my usual scruffy attire they were welcoming and friendly. I would imagine the prices keep riff raff like me away mostly unless line me they are dedicated vegan foodies! I only had time for a small plate and a dessert. I was promised the plate would be served within two mins and it was. And boy was it delicious ! A cheesy truffle thing with cashews and sun dried tomatoes that I wished had lasted longer. The cheesecake description was so enticing I couldn’t resist it and it was sublime sitting in a sticky rich pistachio cream!

Superb food - Edit
We had a lovely time at Kin restaurant and it's great that it's fully vegan. We took advantage of the 50% off deal on the fork, otherwise I may have thought it a tad too expensive. I genuinely enjoyed everything I tried, the sauces elevated each dish. The pasta was also a good portion. Stand out for me was the small plates, the eggplant and tofu, fantastic.

Looks good - Edit
The interior is presented very well but tables so close together they need to be moved to enable someone to sit on the banquette. The banquette has been installed a tad too high, my feet couldn’t touch the ground so not comfortable dining. The toilet is downstairs, down a spiral staircase, then manoeuvre around a ladder, then you’re in. It’s good they let customers use the toilet though.
Read moreWe had a small dish each. I had the risotto which was tasty, the sun-dried tomatoes added flavour. B had sticky tofu which he said was tasty.
We had to ask if they have desserts, we didn’t receive a reply but not long afterwards a menu arrived. Unfortunately the two options available were not to our tastes.
It’s great they’ve opened a vegan restaurant when the cafe is only veggie. We enjoy visiting new vegan places.
KINLONDON
Thanks so much for your thoughtful feedback – we’re really glad to hear you enjoyed the risotto and sticky tofu, and that you appreciate our step towards offering a fully vegan space! We hear you on the seating and toilet access – that’s really helpful to know and something we’ll take into consideration as we refine the space. Sorry the dessert options didn’t hit the mark this time, but we’re grateful you gave us a try and hope to welcome you back soon!

Very very good but pricey - Edit
A visit with friends allowed me to try a few dishes and they were very good, with some exceptional peaks of yummines like the tofu over carrot hummus or the broad bean croquettes or the risotto with barley which was absolutely perfect. Some dishes didn't quite hit as high, the aubergine was nice but we couldn't taste any miso and the cheesecake had a beautiful texture but the lime was only in the name.
