Delicious cheesecake - Edit
Exquisite presentation of the cheesecake and tasted lovely. It was quite subtle with the avocado, lime, and pistachio butter flavors. I’d love to come try the main menu. 25% discount if you leave a review on HappyCow.

Superb food - Edit
We had a lovely time at Kin restaurant and it's great that it's fully vegan. We took advantage of the 50% off deal on the fork, otherwise I may have thought it a tad too expensive. I genuinely enjoyed everything I tried, the sauces elevated each dish. The pasta was also a good portion. Stand out for me was the small plates, the eggplant and tofu, fantastic.

Looks good - Edit
The interior is presented very well but tables so close together they need to be moved to enable someone to sit on the banquette. The banquette has been installed a tad too high, my feet couldn’t touch the ground so not comfortable dining. The toilet is downstairs, down a spiral staircase, then manoeuvre around a ladder, then you’re in. It’s good they let customers use the toilet though.
Read moreWe had a small dish each. I had the risotto which was tasty, the sun-dried tomatoes added flavour. B had sticky tofu which he said was tasty.
We had to ask if they have desserts, we didn’t receive a reply but not long afterwards a menu arrived. Unfortunately the two options available were not to our tastes.
It’s great they’ve opened a vegan restaurant when the cafe is only veggie. We enjoy visiting new vegan places.

Thanks so much for your thoughtful feedback – we’re really glad to hear you enjoyed the risotto and sticky tofu, and that you appreciate our step towards offering a fully vegan space! We hear you on the seating and toilet access – that’s really helpful to know and something we’ll take into consideration as we refine the space. Sorry the dessert options didn’t hit the mark this time, but we’re grateful you gave us a try and hope to welcome you back soon!

My non-vegan son and I enjoyed this eating experience together. The ponzu grilled cabbage was a revelation. We were going to eat half a plate each but he said it was so good that he just gave me a taste!

Very very good but pricey - Edit
A visit with friends allowed me to try a few dishes and they were very good, with some exceptional peaks of yummines like the tofu over carrot hummus or the broad bean croquettes or the risotto with barley which was absolutely perfect. Some dishes didn't quite hit as high, the aubergine was nice but we couldn't taste any miso and the cheesecake had a beautiful texture but the lime was only in the name.

Pros: Appetisers are so good, Central location
Cons: High prices, Busy so don't forget to book

4.5/5 - Tasty and cosy! - Edit
We came here with friends on a Thursday night and it was packed! It’s a small restaurant so I would recommend booking in advance. It has a cosy feel and dimmed lighting made it feel even more so.
Read moreThe menu has a range of appetisers, small and large plates. It had a good number of dishes although I feel it could have had a little more variety (although that’s being picky, it’s still a good selection). We went for the Broad Bean Croquettes and Sticky Cashew Tofu from the appetisers menu and then for our mains we went for the Truffle Barley Risotto (small plate) and Courgette & Pistachio Spaghetti (large plate).
The Sticky Cashew Tofu was my personal favourite - it had a great rich flavour and I really enjoyed it with the cashew carrot dip! The spaghetti was also really good - a nice big portion with lots of the sauce which had a really good flavour. The croquettes were also good, with a crispy coating and tasty butter bean cream. I thought the risotto was decent - it had a pretty good flavour although I felt it could have been more truffley and the texture was on the runnier side which personally wasn’t my cup of tea.
We also tried both of their desserts - Avocado Lime Cheesecake and Chocolate Fondant & Raspberry. Both were really good! The cheesecake was a nice dense texture and had a lovely zingy taste which I really enjoyed. The fondant was also very good with again a nice dense texture and a lovely rich flavour, which contrasted nicely with the sweet raspberry sorbet.
I also tried the Pomegranate Margarita which was great!
We also used the offer on this listing which as of the date of this review (29/3/25) says “Mention HappyCow for 25% off and free dessert”! They took 25% off our whole bill (including drinks) and gave us 2 of our 4 desserts for free which was generous and saved us a lot!

A cosy restaurant with varied menu. Courgette croquettes for starter and 3 tomato gnocchi for main, both delicious. Meat-eater husband raved about the carrot hummus but found the creamy pistachio spaghetti was very rich and filling, although tasty.

I, and many others, already reviewed Kin restaurant on their cafe page before their listings were split (finally!!). But I’ll copy it across here for reference and delete it on the other page when I next visit the cafe.

Good vegan restaurant in Fitzrovia - Edit
I was excited to find out there was a new vegan restaurant in Fitzrovia as there aren’t lots of vegan venues in that area of London. I organised a dinner a few days back and had a nice time. The venue is intimate and cosy and had a chilled-out atmosphere . The staff were very friendly and accommodating , especially as my friend who came was a wheel-chair user. The food was good, especially the starters. We had the sticky tofu and broad bean croquettes as starters (which were both delicious ) and the aubergine and roasted cauliflower as a main. The mains were good but not as impressive as I’d hoped. My friends had the pastas. I tried the pistachio one and it was very tasty , the tomato one less so. All in all a lovely evening though.

Terrific find - Edit
Loved the food which was exactly the right mix of refined and accessible. The food was original but not bizarre, filling but not stuffy, pretty but not overwrought.

The restaurant - not the cafe - Excellent food and lovely interior - Edit
A fantastic new addition to the London vegan scene. This is the fully vegan sister restaurant of the Kin Cafe which is vegetarian (and where I’ve never been). I’ve tried to add Kin Restaurant to Happy Cow specifying it’s new but the bots have denied it twice. So I’ll post it here
Read moreThe food at Kin Restaurant is vegetables focused in a lovely atmosphere. Nice lighting and sound dampening so you can have a great conversation without straining, you can hear and the noise level is manageable.
We had three small plates/starters and two mains. Had to go for dessert as it was our first time. Flavours were balanced and preparation was ace. Service was warm, friendly and efficient.
