Thai Bites, Vegan Delights, and Zero Regrets

Came here for second breakfast and had a great meal. Caters to tourists and has well marked vegetarian menu. We got the mango sticky rice and green curry. They are always cautious when a tourist orders curry, so I said “spicy is good” with not enough knowledge to say it in Thai. The curry delivered the flavors and wasn’t intolerably spicy, it was just right.

Pros: Separate well-marked vegetarian menu, Great smoothies, Used to tourists and our bumbling

Okay food

The food was fine and they had a vegetarian menu page.
Food took some time to cook, but small signs on the wall tells you that too.

Pros: Food taste

Cons: Wait time

Fab location and good vegan options

This little cafe is right on the side of the road next to the grand palace. We had iced coffees with oat milk and came back the next day for breakfast. The mango sticky was rice was delicious- and it comes with a little surprise! The owner was friendly and spoke good English - I’d recommend!

Pros: Iced coffee, Mango sticky rice

Nice place close to Wat Pho

Kin & Koff is located directly on the street behind Wat Pho, so we came here for a second breakfast/very early lunch after visiting the temple.
The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The vegan dishes are marked on the menu and the staff also asked if we wanted eggs, so they clearly know about dietary needs and they also speak English well.

We shared the fried vegetable rice and the fried tofu between us and everything tasted very good.

There is some seating upstairs, and we enjoyed having a break in that quiet area.

Serving the Essentials

Kin & Koff is great if you crave local food. I went to Thailand knowing that they have a lot of vegan options. But traditional Pad Thai is not vegan, Kin & Koff did a good job to make it vegan and with some other dished too. The noodle spring roll wag great while I was walking around the area while snacking.

Pros: Pad Thai, Vegan Options, Cold drinks perfect for hot Bangkok weather

Cons: Vegan Options still too few

Nice little restaurant dor a snack

The food was OK. I ordered vegan Pad Thai and was asked if I want some egg added to it (so vegetarian). I guess the Pad Thai was a bit westernized, but OK. Bit tasteless.

Pros: Good soda, Nice staff, Chili on the side
