Great options

We’ve visited for lunch on a Saturday and it was still quite empty. The staff was very friendly and we’ve appreciated all the vegan options on the menu.
The tofu was amazing and so was the garlic sauce, the kimchi was medium spicy (very enjoyable)
The main dishes were 16€ each and the little kimchi portion 4€
even tho a little on the pricier side, I’d visit again

Pros: Freshness, Options

Cons: A little too pricy

Lots of vegan options with tasty suces

We picked the vegetable Mandus as a starter. Alas they were out of the kimchi pancakes. I would have really liked to try those. For a main I had the Tofu Cilli which was fried in dough and covered in a delicious sauce.

Authentic Korean food

The food here was absolutely great - and authentic, too. They serve quite a few staples of modern Korean cuisine and also offer Korean drinks (including a great plum ice tea / lemonade). The menu looks like it's 30 years old and does not incidicate vegan items. However, the ingredients are listed and make plant-based dishes identifiable. The staff was super helpful, too, though, and definitely knew about veganism.
Most notably, they have a vegan version of Korean fried Chicken, made with tofu - it was absolutely delicious. The Bibimbap was super good, too, and felt a bit more authentic than in some other Korean places in Germany.
Overall, a very nice addition to Bochum and a great place to enjoy Korean food.
