Late-Night Option - Edit
Went late night with friends. One of the only options for dine-in late-night food. Menu has a wide variety of options that might be vegetarian or vegan but the menu does not specify. Lots of fried options, but they might be fried with non-veg foods.

Decent place, open late night - Edit
I come here pretty often late at night because of their incredibly convenient hours and relatively large selection. One of the great things about Kickbacks is they serve the impossible burger and have a decent selection of vegan items (mushroom tacos, falafel bites, zucchini wraps to name a few). The prices can be a little steep for some items. When it’s late at night and you’re leaving the bars on king street this is a great place to stop by.

I used to love this place! It’s expanded and much larger now with such a great atmosphere and beer from all over the world! Lately the staff has just been mediocre. Most of the time they don’t even know what is in the food, so they aren’t very helpful. I can only assume this has more to do with management than the staff themselves. They have a small kitchen without food warmers so you will get your food when it’s ready..they don’t bring everyone’s orders out together. The nice thing is that their kitchen is open until 3am!

We had an event in the basement and don’t have any service, so I trusted the waiter when I asked him if there was egg in the Mycoprotien nuggets. Again, I had no server so I couldn’t confirm this....failure in my part.
Read moreWhen I got home about 2hrs later I had the worst stomach cramps and got hives, I had a bad reaction to the mycoprotien. And it had egg whites as a binder😡When I googled mycoprotein, it’s a huuuge debate on whether it’s safe or not. People are having anaphylactic relations to it.
I just strongly advice not to get mycoprotien products from them

Bland food, good beer selection - Edit
I'll give them points for trying. After all, not many places in JAX have jackfruit tacos and are open at 7:30am! But all 3 items we tried lacked any flavor at all (kibbeh, falafel, tacos). Service was fine, good beer selection, but shelf liquor and juices were very low rent and almost undrinkable. Disappointing.

Super cool atmosphere with an upstairs. I took my dad who is a beer conisseur and he tried a few beers he really liked. My My dad is a vegetarian and got the veggie panini. I got the tempeh burger and sweet potato fries. My partner got the vegan beer brats, that had sauerkraut and an ale mustard on it. We all loved our food and would return again to try their other vegan items. We all shared tater tots which are the best!
