Café Erde + - Edit
The second location of Café Erde – located within the campus of the main university of Graz (KF Graz) – is quickly becoming my favorite restaurant in Graz.
Read moreWith its cheaper prices, a larger offer, as well as a super nice and relaxed ambience, it is even surpassing the original Café Erde. Quality of food and the taste are superb as well.
The opening times are the only issue, since KF Erde serves more as a lunch restaurant for students and therefore already closed in the afternoon.
All in all, if you only have one day in Graz and wanna try some tasty and authentic vegan food, this is your place to go!
Edit: If you have the Mensastempel (the “canteen stamp” for university students), you get the main dishes an additional 1,50€ cheaper!

Great Lunch Option on Campus in Graz - Edit
Right on the campus, KF Erde (ReSoWi) offers a fully vegan option for low to medium priced food. There are two warm lunch options, some sandwiches, cold and warm drinks, a salad bar and a huge option of delicious vegan cakes. We tried a chili sin carne with polenta and a curry with spinach and potatoes along with a mixed salad. For dessert, we had mozart cake with chai latte and raspberry cheesecake with hot cocoa. Apart from the chai latte which happened to not taste very intense, everything was fabulous.

Like the original, they have two changing meals and some standard snacks and cake. The prices are affordable and you should be there early, because the options of food decrease towards closing time.

Der Preis is günstiger als im Café Erde, doch für eine Mensa zu hoch. Wenn sie noch mindestens 2€ günstiger werden ist es perfekt (vielleicht gibt es ja einen Zuschuss von der Uni).
Die Location ist sehr gemütlich und schön.
Hoffentlich passen sie die Öffnungszeiten noch an, denn nun haben sie nur bis 15:00 geöffnet.
Pros: Gemütliches Ambiente, Netter Service, Lecker Essen
Cons: Etwas zu hoher Preis
