Große Bowl-Auswahl - Edit
Hier gibt es eine sehr große Auswahl an veganen Bowls.
Read moreViele sind schon fertig zusammengestellt, man kann diese aber abwandeln (etwas abwählen, ersetzen oder ergänzen) oder sich direkt selbst eine gestalten.
Bestellt wird recht simpel an einem Terminal.
Es gibt eine große Auswahl an Zutaten, da ist für jeden etwas dabei.
Optisch werden die Bowls schön präsentiert und die Portionsgröße ist auch sehr gut.
Kritikpunkte waren für uns: Der Service war nicht sonderlich freundlich und hilfsbereit, als es Probleme am Terminal gab und ob auch alle Zutaten da sind; es roch nicht unbedingt einladend im Laden und die Preisgestaltung ist etwas schwierig. Teilweise ist es besser, fertige Bowls abzuändern, als sich eine selbst zu gestalten, aber auch dabei werden teilweise Beträge gegengerechnet oder nicht.
Wir würden den Laden wieder besuchen, aber es wäre nicht unsere erste Wahl in der Essener Innenstadt.
Pros: Große Auswahl mit besonderen Zutaten, Frische Zutaten und gute Portion
Cons: Service-Freundlichkeit , Preisgestaltung undurchsichtig

Why Bother? - Edit
Although the dishes might be advertised as healthier fast food, it is neither tasty nor has it any additional nutritional value. We had the kimchi tuna bowl and chili sin carne. The bowl lacked any filling ingredients such as lentils, rice etc. and was overpriced. The kimchi itself was fine, the tuna tasteless. The chili sin carne was better but very ordinary and practically out of the microwave. Curiously, the drinks were the worst. The mint ice tea and holunder lemonade lacked flavour. Granted, they might be low on sugar, but they're also artificially made with syrup or the like. Why bother with healthier fast food if it doesn't have any advantages? Further, they reward Google reviews with a cookie which is a regrettable business practice.

Der kleine Laden bietet "gesundes Fastfood" an. Ihr bestellt an einem Terminal, setzt euch und schon nach kurzer Zeit kommt euer köstliches Essen. Frische, leckere Bowls sind auf der Karte ebenso wie Chilli sind Carne oder Curry. Sehr lecker, sehr zu empfehlen.

The food is freshly prepared.
You can order at the self-service digital terminal or with a QR code at the table.
Things you don't want, such as coriander, can easily be canceled during the ordering process.
Nutritional values can also be viewed.
The selection of bowls, salads, curries/stews, wraps and snacks is great.
There is plenty of seating inside and outside.
Everything seemed very clean, including the toilet.
We liked it very much! We will be back!

Endlich mal healthy food und nicht wieder nur fast Food. selbst die home made Limo war nicht zu süß.
Das Essen wird frisch zubereitet.
Man kann am self-service digitalen terminal bestellen oder mit QR-Code am Tisch.
Sachen, die man nicht haben möchte wie z.B. Koriander, kann man easy beim Bestellvorgang abbestellen.
Nährwerte sind ebenfalls einsehbar.
Die Auswahl an Bowls, Salaten, Currys/Eintöpfen, Wraps und Naschereien sind super.
Es gibt drin und draußen ausreichend Sitzplätze.
Alles wirkte sehr sauber, auch die Toilette.
Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen! Wir kommen wieder!

The restaurant uses terminals for orders. The options are plentiful and the location really nice. We had a bowl and masala dish with some drinks. The food was pretty good and the price was high but fair.

This place is right in the city center with seating inside and outside. You order and pay via screen where you can see the menu, ingredients and nutrinional value the design has a bit of a diner vibe.
Read moreOverall it is a regular bowl restaurant. The have salads, warm meals, porridge and desserts. They dont re-invent the wheel, but the selection is good, its all vegan and the food tasted nice and the portion was extremely filling. I was missing some soft drinks on the menu though.

I had the Thai bowl salad bowl for lunch and came right back for dinner. It's fresh, delicious and satisfies. Prices and portions are excellent! Highly recommended!

Cozy new vegan est. - Edit
They have an outstanding choice of vegan meals. I had the vegan Massala chkn curry and the Winter Berry cheesecake. Chocolate brownie, applecake. For drinks the acai, ginger lemonade and red berry iced tea. I think this new vegan establishment has lots of potential and I wish them good luck in making this a successful place.
