We were not far from the Van Hanh mall when we discovered this restaurant via the Happy Cow app.

The second time we asked for a recommendation and we ate a platter for two that cost 199k. Excellent choice and one of the best meals we had in Ho Chi Minh 😋. I highly recommend you stop there or even make a detour to go and enjoy a wonderful meal. The complimentary cold tea is very sweet, fragrant and good, just like the restaurant.😃

Read moreThe menu looked OK. Everything was 100k+ so it's on the more expensive side.
I got the pad Thai which was super sweet and not spicy even though I asked for spicy. I wouldn't recommend it.
I also got the tofu skin spring rolls, those were good, but the dipping sauce was also pretty sweet.
Those 2 things and a tea came out to 300k.
Pros: OK menu
Cons: Lots of sugar, Expensive

Read moreStick to the Vietnamese food. The sushi was excellent as well, but the Vietnamese food is brilliant. We had fried mushrooms with passionfruit sauce, a special bamboo basket and the sushi.
They also have many different rooms to rent/use in case of many guests or some kind of events. Birthdays, meetings etc.
Pros: Atmosphere , Mushrooms , Vegan Vietnamese food

What a lovely surprise Karuna Veggie is. All vegan. All dishes are excellent. The star is their Pad Thai. Just as good as you'd get in Thailand.
