Read moreFirst time we had the green curry and pad Thai and it was amongst our top ever vegan meals. Especially the curry was amazing. So good we had to come back on our last day in Paris to try something else.

we came into the restaurant and were being told that they could only do take out that evening - so we decided to order two pad thai and took it to our hotel room😂a bit sad, but the food stayed warm for the almost 30 minutes of our way back (which i was very happy about). we both liked it a lot, everything tasted fresh and it was a bigger portion than it looked like 🤭 still very happy with our choice! ☀️

A Safe Thai Choice - Edit
Kapunka popped up on my search of local vegan restaurants on our way back home from the gardens. They are a fully Thai vegan restaurant so lots of high expectations since we love this cuisine.
Read moreThe menu seemed a bit limited compared to Thai restaurants in North America but there ended up being something for everyone. They offered five different mains (with four of them being curry or soup based) and I went with their Massaman Curry Noodles (16,50€).
My large bowl of curry noodles was pretty good. It was loaded with potatoes, sweet potatoes, and turnips along with rice noodles. It also came with tofu which wasn't listed on the menu, but a great addition for some needed protein.
While the food was alright, dining inside with no air conditioning or running fan was quite challenging. All of us felt the toastiness of Paris that evening and we were sweating profusely inside. I think it made it hard to really enjoy our meal so please bring in some fans to make the experience more comfortable.

Wir hatten zur Vorspeise die Summer Rolls, danach das Massaman Curry und Pad Thai. Alles sehr gut und sehr lecker. Das Personal war auch super freundlich. Am besten reservieren, da nicht viele Sitzplätze vorhanden sind.

Petit restaurant de quartier, assez confidentiel. Ambiance musicale Thaï (pas de la lounge occidentale, non, de la musique de là-bas!) conviviale en fond (très discret) et déco rustique. Nourriture incroyablement savoureuse, préparée et servie très rapidement. Dessert riz gluant et mangue pour couronner le tout. Miam!

100% vegan Thai restaurant. In terms of quality of taste and seasoning, it was one of the best Thai restaurants we've been to so far. The waitress was super cute and friendly and attended to us very well. She spoke excellent English, so communication was great and clear. Good options on the menu. We ordered the "green curry" and the "vegan pad Thai". Spectacular. As a starter, we ordered the "summer roll", which was absolutely incredible. Located less than 10 minutes from the metro. The kitchen closes just before closing time, and from then on you can only order to go. The prices are only a little higher than the average in Paris. It was well worth the experience. I think it's a must if you're vegan and spending a few days in Paris.

A cozinha fecha um pouco antes do horário de encerramento, e a partir daí só é possível pedir pra viagem. Pratos com preços só um pouco mais salgados do que a média em Paris. Super valeu a experiência. Acho presença obrigatória pra que for vegano e estiver passando uma dias em Paris.

Wir hatten als Vorspeise das Avocado Tatar. Sehr interessant, dass es auf einer Reiswaffel serviert wird, es war aber sehr lecker. Als Hauptspeisen hatten wir einmal das Pad Tahi. Es hat sehr sehr süßlich geschmeckt, war aber dennoch lecker. Und einmal das mikati massaman, welches lecker und gut scharf war. Der Service war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Restaurant an sich ist recht klein, aber so kennt man es in Paris.😄

Everything about my dining experience here was lovely. As a solo diner I sat at the bar, the server was attentive but not intrusive, the lemon/ginger drink refreshing, salad rolls perfect as a light snack, and I’d return for the banana tapioca pudding - delicious!

Fantastic vegan Thai food - Edit
I visited twice during my stay in Paris and absolutely loved the experience. The employee was very nice and even communicated very well in English. (My French isn't great so I'm always happy if we can meet in English. xD) The food was made quickly and was absolutely delicious. If I return to Paris I'll definitely return here as well. The place itself was small but very charming with lots of details.
