Lovely vegan lunch, nice and original options. Fast and friendly staff. Big indoor seating area. Modern style. We had the vegan egg sandwich and the hummus. Good iced latte. They don’t charge extra for oat milk.

We ordered just drinks. An vegan hot chocolate with espresso, an fresh orange juice and the bali smoothie (creamy smoothie with oatmilk). Everything is clearly labeled. Coffee is great and you can also buy the coffee beans.

Only downside: I needed to work after the meal and opened my laptop. The staff advised me that this is not allowed at some tables, because "the customers won't leave if they use a laptop"....??

Always love the atmosphere at Kaffeesaurus and the coffee is always delicious. This time I had an iced chai with oat milk and a Mexican inspired salad which were both good but not outstanding. BUT THEN I tried the orange poppyseed cake and it was so soft, spongy, full of flavour and just straight up delicious!! Overall service could be a bit more attentive, but they were all super nice.

We tried different flavors of the homemade vegan ice cream and they where delicious! Go for hazelnut especially! Very friendly stuff and a lot of vegan options on the Menu.

Pleasingly Contemporary, Worth a Detour - Edit
Kaffeesaurus is on the outskirts of Bonn's downtown center. We happened by it while walking from the train station into downtown. It was a hot day and they had a nice selection of vegan ice cream. We got there after the kitchen had closed, so we had the vegan ice cream, some vegan cake, and coffee with oatmilk. All very good. While not a vegan restaurant, there were a lot of vegan offerings on the menu, so we planned a 2nd visit. On that visit I had the avocado smash toast; really tasty. This time we sat inside in the pleasingly contemporary restaurant. A great place to eat.

It was busy due to the rain, but the atmosphere was still cosy. We had a coffee and a chocolate milk with oat milk. Friendly staff. They have plenty of vegan options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They also have paistries, but we only had a drink.

Kaffeesaurus is primarily a coffee chain with more outlets in Cologne. However they also serve delivious cakes with many of them vegan, breakfast, sandwiches, salads, burgers and much more (with an instagrammable presentation). I tired banana bread and really liked it although it did not completely blew me off my feet. Only then did I spot that all of their ice creams are vegan and they have so many flabours to try!!
