WOW

I popped in for a to-go meal before leaving our mini vacation in downtown Asheville. I ordered the appetizer Muhamarah
(Im guessing about 4 or 5 ounces of bell pepper, walnut, pomegranate molasses pureé served with 6 very small pieces house-baked pita) and a side order of 5 very small falafel. I ordered from their website menu, which has no prices. When they told me $27, GEEZ😬! When he handed me the bag of food, it weighed next to nothing, and I double-checked it to make sure it was the correct order. I got in the car and started b!tching and moaning about how I just dropped $30 (tip included) on this TINY amount of food. I ate the falafel first- light and airy without the strong, dirty undertone that I find in many other restaurant's falafel. It comes with tzatziki sauce, which I tossed. Next, the Muhamara. Decadent deliciousness! This was simply the most fabulous food I ate during our visit in Asheville, and we ate at a lot of fine food restaurants!
And ya know what? I was stuffed without even finishing it! I still have some to take home😊.
I now feel completely fine with spending $30 for this, knowing that Asheville is hurting terribly for tourism dollars since Hurricaine Helene.

Pros: Food is fresh and scrumptious, Unusual and exotic flavors, Cozy and unique atmosphere

Cons: No vegan sauces for falafel, Very pricey, but you won't get these flavors, anywhere else in the area.

Incredible vegan brunch

I had the vegan platter which is not on the menu. It had Muhamarra, Hummus, Kibbeh, grape leaves and some other items. Everything on it was delicious. It was a bit expensive at $26 (I think), but would’ve easily been enough for two, if I had asked for extra pita. Also had the Moroccan mint tea, which was nice. My non-vegan friend had the Shakshuka, which he loved. Nice atmosphere and attentive wait staff. Highly recommend.

Nice surprise

Looking for brunch options it was a nice surprise to find this place. There were several options to choose from. I had the hummus with falafel and tabbouleh. The Turkish coffee was delicious as well.
The place was clean, nicely decorated and the atmosphere was pleasant.

Vegan baklava!!!

Great ambiance. There were musicians playing traditional music. There was a dancer too, though that got a bit awkward. Got the vegetarian plate. It was scrumptious.
