Scrumptious - Edit
This place is right opposite the Cat’s Eye cat cafe (which is also worth a visit). The staff speak excellent English and were very helpful in catering for the variety of needs of our party (one vegan, one vegetarian and one gluten-free). The food was delicious and the portions ample.

Delicious! - Edit
One of the most delicious dishes I had in Japan. I had the Sudachi Soy sauce Dashi Mazemen, veganized with mushrooms instead of meat. Very tasty, flavorful, a little spicy. Helpful and friendly staff.

Only one vegan option, but it was super good! - Edit
The staff was really friendly and helpful to find vegan options on the menu. They only have one vegan option, so keep that in mind. This one dish is really delicious though! Unique taste that I had not yet been able to find in regular restaurants.

Solid vegan & nonvegan spot - Edit
My husband isn’t vegan and I wanted to make sure we visited a couple spots that weren’t 100% vegan so he could try some other things. This place was great! The staff was kind in talking me through what could be made vegan, and I even added a side of natto (fermented soybeans) to amp up the protein a little bit.

Delicious vegan options - Edit
We ate here for the three nights we were in Kyoto. Really delicious noodles and a number of items can be made vegan upon request.

Everyone friendly! - Edit
The sign on the outside invited us in and we were not disappointed - while the staff was not super aware of the meaning of vegan, they made sure to ask us whether fish, egg and other ingredients were NG.
Read moreThe atmosphere is magical and the portions are generous! I ordered a large bowl but ended taking some home as it was too much.
