I love this tiny, sweet little restaurant so much and recommend it to everyone who wants to try something vegan! (Although there are also some vegetarian options on the menu)

My favourite vegan restaurant in Dusseldorf - Edit
We used to order a lot from Jade. Sadly we moved and are now out of there delivery region. Best authentic vegan asian food. Reminds me of holiday in Thailand. Love this place! The people running the restaurant are so kind. Sometimes they give us summer rolls for free.

Good prices and delicious food - Edit
Had the Kung pao dish with "duck" it was really tasty and the portion was big. The Curry was not as good as the Kung pao but still decent. Delivery time can be bit long but worth it.

Good food and home-cooked feel - Edit
I tried their Chinese style dishes, and they taste home cooked as chef is from Malaysia. I don't consume onions or garlic, and have no problem communicating with them as the boss understands Chinese. Personal fav is their fried bee hoon.

Chinese Veggie Cuisine - Edit
I have been visiting the restaurant since the owner has changed his offer completely to vegetarian, which means for many years now - no matter whether for delivery, pick up or dining on site. If you like Chinese cuisine, you should definitely stop by. The diner is relatively small and has only five small tables. If you come before 7pm, you should be able to find a place, after that it will be cramped. The Chinese staff is always friendly and the choice is endless. Nevertheless, I always take the 51 or 55. If you want the dish without flavour enhancers, just let them know when you order.

Hands Down Favourite Place to Eat - Edit
Hands Down Jade Imbiss became the best place to eat, if you are really into asian food.
Read moreAs I worked in Düsseldorf and had a Girlfriend living there, I went every second week there and recommend that place to everyone who wants to try vegan food.
It is not expensive, so even as a Student you can eat there often.
The Service is really nice and appreciate you.
Just try the 23 or 43.
The only downside is that sometimes you won't able to find a place to sit, but it is worth to wait.
Pros: Inexpensive but still very delicious, Nice Staff, Good Portions
Cons: Sometimes it is really crowded

Always a pleasure - Edit
I only ever ordered takeaway from here, so I cannot really comment on the locale. The food was always spot on and just the way it should be. The plant-based meats taste good and they offer all the staple dishes you'd expect to find at an Asian restaurant.

Depends on your expectations - Edit
After seeing the reviews here I went to that place and was a little disappointed that of the wide selection of foods there were only 8 options without any flavour enhancers. Of these 1 was a starter, 3 were salads and were 4 main dishes.
Read moreI had a salad and fried vegetables which were both okay.
The place seemed to be highly-frequented, so I guess it depends on the expectations as well. I personally would say it is more of a fast food place.
Pros: Lots of vegan options
Cons: Flavour Enhancers in almost all dishes

yummy Asian food - Edit
I got takeaway there while travelling. They are very quick, not expensive (€10 for a starter and main) and the food tastes very good! I loved the steamed dumplings filled with vegetables, however, strangely enough, they tasted sweet so I had them for dessert instead of as a starter. I wonder if I just accidentally ordered a different dish but could not see any sweet steamed dumplings on the menu. I did not like the website because even though everything was marked very clearly (some dishes have like 8 numbers so you have to check what every one of them means), I felt like a simple V for vegan or so would have made it easier to find vegan options. Also, I could not find anything on the website that said it was a vegetarian restaurant. However, the very helpful man behind the counter explained that they are 100% vegetarian and almost completely vegan. The website lists 2 desserts, eg bananas baked with honey. In their menu the same dish is listed as bananas baked with agave syrup (which makes it vegan). All in all, it was a very delicious experience though and I will definitely go there again next time I am in Düsseldorf. The chop suey was very nice, very flavourful and came with a lot of vegetables. The mock duck was amazing and the vegan meat ball (Frikadelle which is a flat kind of meat ball) was good. Definitely worth going there!

Good vegan asian food! - Edit
If you're a fan of the asian cuisine you will love this place cause you get cheap but delicious food with clearly labled vegan options (most of the dishes are vegan). The place is maybe not the best one to enjoy your food (but c'mon, it's just kind of a diner).

Good vegetarian/vegan take away - Edit
There was a good range of choices on the menu and the food was good quality with the prices very reasonable. The non-vegan items are marked. It is mainly for take away but there is a couple of small tables that can be used if you want to eat in. I would visit again if I am ever back in Düsseldorf.

mock meat in perfection - Edit
The imbiss delivers typical Chinese food with tofu or mock meat. Non-vegan dishes (with egg) are clearly labeled. The "duck" is imitated so well that one could be afraid of eating meat. Deliver takes up to 1 1/2 hours but they tell you at the phone.

Mmmmmh - Edit
Really nice place. Although sitting in there is not that comfortable the food is always rewarding you with a good feeling. Everything is super tasty, mock meats are almost the best I ever tasted. The nicest and most kind man on earth used to work there, I hope he's still doing so.

Veggie Delivery at It's Best - Edit
Food is just great, staff is from Taiwan, so you need to be clear when ordering. Just say NoEGG and all dishes become vegan. They even use no Fishsauce. Yes during rush hour deliver may take some time - up to 1,5h. But the food is worth it.

Decent vegan & glutenfree dishes - Edit
I have ordered from them a couple of times and have had a variety of their foods. Some were excellent, the majority was totally ok, and one dish was really bad and neither my husband nor I would finish it (don't remember which one though).
Read moreThey always took 45-60mins to arrive which they said in advance and were always on time or earlier.
The food is nothing too spectalucar to me, but I highly appreciate them having a wide range of vegan and even glutenfree dishes that are just an hour away if you don't feel like cooking after a long day.
Pros: Nice range of asian dishes, Always friendly and on time

well worth it - Edit
I read the reviews on this restaurant & decided to give it a try. We were very pleasantly surprised. It is small with seating for 10 & busy. Basically a take away spot. The food was freshly made and excellent. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Big portions.

Good food and friendly people - Edit
We were there to have some birthday dinner with some friends. The atmosphere was a little bit disappointing, because it's really not a restaurant, more a take-away shop.
Read moreThe menue was great, there were so many vegan options, almost everything could be made vegan. I choose vegetables with Fake-chicken and fake-meatballs in a sweet-sour sause with rice. Never again - Edit
It was 7:15pm on a Sunday evening. My wife and myself ordered a delivery. This is where things were not good, bad telephone quality during the ordering, they are busy and will take 45 Min to 1 hour, at 8:35 our food arrived. Soggy chips and well the meals are not worth talking about, after just a few bites we decided to throw them all away and make a better tasting sandwich instead.I will defiantly never order from them again.

SO GOOD!!! - Edit
I agree extremely friendly staff. Small inside but its nice, we were there early on a sunday around 1730. I made sure it my meal was vegan, I had curry with chicken. Really wonderful flavour, yellow type curry. Great selection of vegetables- something that I rarely see in most mock meat meals. Spring rolls were very nice too. My boyfriend had the kung poh, he says "it was nicely spiced" and from what I tasted it was really good.. with cashews too. I would definately go again! But there are many choices.. would be nice to had some code on the menu for dishes that are or are not vegan. but otherwise nice. I managed to figure out the menu in german without knowing any german

tasty and fast - Edit
A friendly team works this tiny restaurant. There's barely enough room for the 3 tables inside. The food was hot and tasty, but nothing really new or exciting. It is the usual fake-meat vegan asian place but it was exactly what I was looking for. :)

Taste of China (and europe too) - Edit
Super little chinese take away with about 10 seats for dining. Ultra friendly staff preparing food from fresh and healthy ingredients. Huge range of dishes such as curry, chop suey, sweet and sour, kung pao with a choice of mock meats such as 'chicken' and 'duck' as well as tofu. They also serve European spaghetti dishes such as bolognaise and and I can honestly say that I have had much worse in authentic Italian restaurants. Wonderful place, ideal for a lunch time meal or a late evening take-away.
