Nice café, but credit card only - Edit
I was at a café at pretty much the same place maybe six, seven years ago. Not sure if it’s the same. The coffee was good back then.
Read moreThen last week I wanted to have breakfast. However, they were in the middle of changing the menu, that’s why all the dishes I would have liked weren’t available. I had a slice of vegan cake and a coffee then.
Nice atmosphere. Looks like they have a lovely back garden!
However, a friend of mine had to save me, because they don’t accept cash, only credit cards. They claim, the café is so exposed and easy to run away from and they had been robbed in the past. Plausible explanation, still a big disappointment though. That’s the only reason I most likely won’t go there again. I wish them all the best all the same.

Nice coffee - Edit
Good place to stop off for a quick coffee. The spicy peanut butter tempeh sandwich changed my life.

Friendly minimalism - Edit
Nice laptop cafe (free wifi); I would think this is suited more for vegetarians than vegans - there's a fair bit of eggs and dairy on the menu.
Read moreThey do have alternative milks for coffee (ie. Oatly)
Staff is friendly and bilingual.
I got the bread pudding. Tasty, looks a bit small at first, but it is FILLING (Albatross pastry, grilled pear with caramelised yoghurt, milk crumble and a bread cracker)

fake vegetarian! - Edit
They aren't a vegetarian coffee. This must be just a marketing gag! As I was sitting there drinking a coffee, the people next to me ordered a meat dish. So this coffee is definitely not vegetarian.

Great coffee - Edit
I never had any food there, but the coffee was always delicious. I like the design of the place and the quiet little garden area in the back.

Coffee place that accepts credit cards! - Edit
Out of all the places I went to in Berlin, this is the only one, that accepted credit cards!
Read moreI didn't try their coffee, but had a piece of vegan carrot cake. I liked that their items are marked, so you can see if you're looking for vegan as well as GF.
I didn't particularly like the vibe, it was white, modern and kind of like a laptop cafe. The service was above average though, the guy behind the counter was very friendly and accommodating. He also told us there was always two vegan options for weekend brunch (on of them a salad).

nice space, a few vegan options - Edit
Isla Coffee is quite a pretty minimalist space next to U-Hbhf Boddinstraße (especially their large Moon artwork on the wall - beautiful!). The staff are very friendly, nice, and bilingual. The menu is very small but there was one sweet and one savoury vegan dish (at least for weekend breakfast time when I went). I got the pancakes - nice but a small portion, which was fine considering it was quite dense and filling.
Read moreCoffees were reasonably priced and good.
Not the best place for vegans but a nice space, especially if you just want a drink. They had a cake and biscuit assortment too, some of which was vegan
Pros: staff, decor, drinks
Cons: not that many vegan options, bit pricey (8-10€ for food)

Nice place for a coffee break - Edit
It's a very nice place for a light breakfast or snack.
Read moreThey have some cold sandwiches (vegetarian and vegan) and some sweet treats (cake, cookies...). Most of those are vegetarian though- there was only one type of vegan cookie on the day I went, but it was really delicious. I also really enjoyed their chai latte made with oat milk.
Pros: Nice place, Great service, Tasty
Cons: Very few vegan options
