Extremely delicious but confused owner - Edit
Rames small vegan 18,95€
Read moreThe dish amazing - everything had a lot of flavour and everything was to my taste. I loved the tender jackfruit. Perfect for a small hunger, or get the bigger versions of Rames. But 19€ for that size - crazy!
But on the vegan menu there's egg listed. When I asked the owner why, he said that some vegans might like an egg on the dish (???). I simply answer "No?" so he tried getting out of it by explaining how in dutch "vegan" and "veganistisch" are two different things. I think he meant "vega" and "vegan", but didn't want to admit to his mistake. Also the table next to me, a group of ~10 americans had issued with two vegan owners.
After that I was assured many many times that my plate was fully vegan.
I recommend eating here, but better safe than sorry and check twice what you order and receive.
