Okay - Edit
Vegan dishes aren’t marked but there is a line at the bottom of the menu saying ‘ask the staff for vegan options’. We did that and they responded with ‘all of the veg curries are vegan’, which blatantly wasn’t true when paneer was involved, but thankfully everything else seemed to be vegan.

Great find - Edit
We loved this place, the decor was great and the food was too, one of the nicest curries we’ve had! The staff were helpful and explained that all the vegetarian curries can be made vegan on request

Delicious food - Edit
Nice Restaurant, which can veganize dishes on demand. We came here 3 times and tried multiple dishes such as Chena Masala, Aloo Matter and Baigan Bharta. Everything was good and the restaurant itself was nicely decorated. We also went here multiple times as the vegan and vegetarian restaurants were quite unreliable in regards to opening times, and this place was always open. Only negative point which I found was that depending on where you sit, the changing light colors make it difficult to read the menu.

Flavour enchantment - Edit
Great experience! The place looks, smells and feels like an Indian paradise, the staff helped well with vegan options and moving the tables. Everything tasted delicious! Our first drink orders after water were taken a bit late, but we were waiting for others so maybe they thought to do it when the group was full. (Alcohol-free) Cocktails from €5,50 and black tea for €2,80! The rest of the food also looked cheaper but with rice/naan up to regular. There also was a capoeira performance in the street! (And an a bit too loud accordeonist)

Great vegetarian options - Edit
Staff are very good at answering questions and accommodating. Most also speak excellent English if your French isn’t strong. Also, really cool atmosphere, especially if you sit out in the alleyway in the evening.

Onion bahjis are delicious. - Edit
Very bright colorful space with friendly staff. The onion bahjis are delicious, one of the 3 dipping sauces isn’t vegan though so ask lots of questions because they bring it out regardless. Not that much variety that can be made vegan though. Basically things can’t be made without butter or they remove the cream but don’t sub anything in so balance of flavour is out a bit. Big serves, good prices.

Cons: Serve non vegan dipping sauces, Not a lot of variety for vegans

Great vegan tali! - Edit
The himalaya tali can be made vegan on request, by swapping out the naan for a rotti.
Read moreOther option on the menu are vegan but not labeled you have to ask staff, this should be improved.
Despite requesting all our orders to be vegan we were served a trio of dips with one containing yogurt. Fortunatley, we asked about it before starting, not great if you were lactose intolerant.
Pros: The interior deco is fantastic, Good Indian food
Cons: Menu not fully labelled with vegan options, Served a non-vegan dip

Amazing! - Edit
My husband and I were having a hard time finding satisfying vegan dining options while visiting Nice. This restaurant was great and we visited twice. The decor is really pretty and intricate. The staff who helped us were knowledgeable on what dishes could be made vegan. The staff were very friendly and provided us with better hospitality compared to other restaurants we visited while in Nice.
Read moreWe tried several different dishes including gobi pakora, roti, chana masala, vegetable samosas, bombay potatoes and baigan bharta. The portion sizes are substantial, especially compared to many other restaurants in the area. We really enjoyed our food and dining experience here.
My only feedback to improve would be to offer more variety in delivery options, as one night we would have preferred to order food in versus dining out but weren’t able to find the items we wanted to order on their takeout menu.
Pros: Good food, Nice atmosphere, Adaptable menu

No vegan thali in peak season! - Edit
Asked for the thali and asked for it to be made vegan, they said no, they can't do it in peak season due to how the chef cooks. Luckily still plenty of vegan options, Chana Masala was tasty! Just disappointed about the thali!

Auf HappyCow fand ich keinen Eintrag in der Altstadt von Nizza. Umso erfreulicher, als ich dieses indische Restaurant gefunden habe: Fröhlich, bunt und köstliche indische Gerichte.

Very good - Edit
The menu has a note that much of the m eu can be customized as vegan. My wife and I went with the vegetarian thali special and asked it to be vegan. Everything was great. We also got the fried onions as an appetizer. So much food. But very good!

Best Indian in Nice - Edit
Good Indian food is hard to come by in the South of France. This is my favorite. Most of the waiters are nice and understand vegan. Nothing marked vegan, so you have to ask.
