Friendly staff and fresh food - Edit
Freshly prepared vegan platter in a cafe with super friendly staff. Whilst the food is a little bit pricier than other places it is definitely worth it.

En la carta está bien justificado lo que es Plant based, el señor que está allí te explica todo muy bien. Caserísimo. La boloñesa vegana y el batido de coco que también es elaborado casero con coco y azúcar de palma es espectacular.

THE place to visit in Kuching if you’re vegan! - Edit
Fantastic vegan options marked on the menu and the owner very clearly points out what is vegan or not. They had vegan nasi lemak rendang tempeh, vegan sandwiches, vegan quesadilla with pesto, vegan bolognese, soba noodles, cake, shakes, etc.

Great local dishes veganized! - Edit
The owner is super friendly and explained that they’ve had to be more meat-centred in their menu presentation lately due to decreased tourists during the COVID lockdown. However, they’re super on top of vegan and vegetarian needs and even have their own line of vegan products (they have a new tempe snack made with local palm sugar). They also have a vegan chocolate cake and make their own vegan coconut ice cream. They take credit card as well - I will be going back!!

Great little gem in the heart of Kuching. - Edit
There are several vegan options, both food and drink, on the menu. All clearly labelled and the staff were helpful and friendly. I had the vegan version of nasi lemak and it was very tasty. I also had a coconut ice cream shake that was just the right level of sweetness for me. Overall I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere here. It’s tucked away up a little side street and easy to miss. Only open during the day.

Not that many vegan options - Edit
We were looking forward to trying some typical dishes, but the vegan options on that part of the menu were extremely limited. The vegan nasi lemak and masak merah with tapioca leaf cauliflower rice that we were able to order were nice, but quite small. None of the cakes were vegan, though we did get a coconut shake which was a dessert in itself. Nice overall, but not worth a second visit.

Good food - Edit
Went there twice. 1st time we ordered the samossa and the vegan burger. Enough pesto sauce in the burger but the samossa was too dry. So lunch wasn't incredible, just ok. (17 RM for lunch for 2 people)
Read moreWe came back the evening and it was better. We ordered the vegan sandwich, which was good. (9RM for one) But the dinner was too light so we ordered desserts. Chocolate cake was good and a kind of pancake with banana and chocolate. Rather good! (27 RM 2 dishes and 2 desserts).

I would definitely come back! This place is so nice. They have a lot of vegan options. Lucian the owners is nice and helpfull. Prices are very cheap and the food is very good! Would recommend the tempe bacon (I don’t think that it really tastes like bacon but it’s delicious anyway) en the crush smoothie (?) —> the one with pineaple, lime and coconut.

*Bonus Star for vegan friendliness - Edit
Aside from the vegan menu, they also offer a vegan cooking class, and there are signs on the street pointing you towards vegan food. The owner is very friendly, and might recommend the vegan tempeh bacon sandwich. They support local arts and also offer guided tours. Quite a lot of stuff going on in a small space. You can get vegan Nasi Lemak here.

Cool cafe and art space. Loved the Nasi Lemak Rendang Tempe. Their vegan options (there are a good many) all sounded fantastic. They have vegan coconut ice cream and chocolate sauce if you want a sweet treat. Nice people and cool place with a welcoming vibe. Great food!
