Great vegan food! - Edit
I got the salt & pepper chips and the salt & chilli ‘chicken’ and it was delish! Only complaint was the curry is a bit too spicy for my liking (lol) and for some reason the vegan salt & pepper chips are more expensive than the regular salt & pepper chips when ordering on the website even though they are identical on arrival.

Amazing Vegan Choice - Edit
We ended up here almost by accident as the two local vegan only restaurants that we would have usually frequented (Anna Loca & Luna's Vegan Corner) were both closed the Monday evening we were dinning out, but we were not to be disappointed!
Read moreThey have a completely separate vegan menu which features an incredible range of suitable traditional Chinese dishes using both meat substitutes and dished using bean curd and noodles as well as a range of vegan starters and deserts.
We were a mixed party of two vegans (myself and my son) and two omni friends who in the end both opted for the vegan choices as they were so appealing. We were really spoilt for choice, there really is that much to choose from.
The food, which arrived very quickly, was excellent both from the point of view of quality and portion size (the doggy bag my son took home with him fed him the following day as well).
The service was attentive without being intrusive and very friendly.
I would heartily recommend the In Café and it its somewhere that we all greed was well worth another visit

Read moreGreat deal if options with good portion sizes. They make use of mock meats and have trsditional Chinese meals and drinks. I had a dry stir fried curried noodles with veg and mock beef and a soy drink with red beans. The drink is a meal on its own as it has whole boiled red beans in it.
The flavours were OK, I'd love to go again and try other things.
I found the tables too close to each other. The staff were friendly.

BEST VEGAN CHINESE - Edit
Amazing how much vegan options they have considering the place isn’t 100% vegan. Plus all of it is so tasty!! It’s on the expensive side but it’s so worth it honestly. Would definitely recommend. Haven’t found another Chinese like it.

Though I'd love for a place like this to be 100% vegan, I was genuinely amazed at the extent of their vegan menu. Fantastic chicken and duck substitute, really welcoming staff & a giant fan when it gets too hot 🥵😅

Tasty Chinese food - Edit
The food was really tasty but it took 1.5 hours to be delivered! I don't know if that's a regular thing, but luckily the food was good so all was forgiven AND it came hot which we were happy about too. I thought the mock meats were really well done. The only thing we didn't like was the prawn toast. It tasted like white bread with sesame seeds and not much else in terms of flavor.

Crispy beef & Sweet and Sour chicken were my two favourite foods before I went vegan. The vegan versions here are better than any meat version I ever ate. Absolutely love this place

FINALLY some decent vegan Chinese options!! - Edit
This place is just incredible, amazing options including beef, chicken, pork and prawn style dishes. The ‘prawn’ toast and crackers are a must, as well as the sweet & sour balls! Ordered a takeaway alongside meat options for omni family and they had clearly marked vegan options with a sticker so no confusion. Seriously a must-try if you’re in Cardiff! We packed cutlery and dishes ready for this and certainly didn’t disappoint.

We had the crispy vegan beef, the vegan chicken balls and the salt and pepper squid. It was incredible! The lady, Grace, was so helpful and fully aware of all things vegan. They had a lot of options on their menu including soups, units of vegan meats, as well as tofu and veggies. Love it, will definitely be back and fully recommend
