Beirut is the second oldest place, still existing in Stuttgart, selling falafel, besides vegi voodoo king.

There are lots of falafel places in Stuttgart, but only a few listed on Happy Cow. I knew this one was not fully vegan, but I expected the staff to at least be helpful to customers saying they are, even if not in German. Well, my experience was not great: the staff looked puzzled when I said, several times, that I was vegan; they spoke no English whatsoever; and all that despite the menu on the wall clearly spelling out the word 'vegan' for one of the options. I do not think my pronunciation of the word was the problem, but maybe it was...
Read moreI had a falafel plate AND a wrap (I was hungry). All was nice enough but for a bit too much salt and pickles for my (non German) taste.
Oh, and the AC was not working on a very hot day, not great.

This is a great falafel place! Very friendly service, when ordering a 'vegan' falafel they know exactly what you want. The sandwich comes with hummus, sesame sauce and optional spicy potatoes. The taboule tastes great as well.
