Best risotto - Edit
The risotto with mushroom was probably the best risotto I’ve ever had. The vegetable and fruit juice was also pretty nice. It’s amazing to see a vegan and organic fast food place, and I’ll for sure come back to try more dishes!

Great vegan restaurant - Edit
100% vegan. Fast food & traditional dishes on offer. I opted for a hot dog and spinach and cheese croquettes. Sweet pastries and 'cheese cake' style desserts were also available. I took some pastries away for later. I was disappointed at the amount of paper napkins used in serving my meal and in providing my take-away (even though I tried to refuse them!). I would much prefer if napkins were available as an option, if required. Despite that small hiccup, the staff were helpful and kind. Lovely modern venue. And the food was very tasty!

Perfect vegan restaurant for food allergies - Edit
Amazing flavour, quality and value. Informal order at the counter, chalkboard menu in English and Italian. Phenomenal vegan cheese cake. Lots of choices for people like me with multiple food allergies (beans and soy!)

lunch in the city - Edit
Close to our Airbnb we found this little gem by accident, lovely friendly staff (very nice Prosecco...when in Italy!) we only wanted something light but the menu had plenty of lovely options which many other diners were clearly enjoying. Great value too which is always a bonus in any city.

Yum! - Edit
We came for an early lunch and were alone in the restaurant for ten minutes before a bunch of hungry people suddenly joined from the rainy streets of Florence! The atmosphere was casual and friendly, and the food was good. I had a cavolo nero/faggioli soup and my partner had the goulash, and for dessert we had a slice of cake each. The cheese cake slice was huge! We could barely finish the cakes, and were glad we didn't have a second main as planned at first (the portions felt small at first, but we were full for hours after our meals). The drinks we had were a nice addition to the meal, chinotto and cedrata. Will return!

Good Stuff! - Edit
We spent three nights in Florence and we, my wife and I, had dinner at Il Vegano, three nights in a row. This fact alone should testify how much we liked it. Highly recommended if you are looking for a cruelty free meal with the luxury of Italian cuisine ;))

Decent, but unspectacular - Edit
We had the mushroom risotto and one of the burgers in addition to an apricot croissant. The latter was the standout with the rest being good but not great.

Great food! Would definitely come back - Edit
Indoor and outdoor seating, friendly staff, short walk from the Duomo, DELICIOUS vegan/organic food. I'd been in Italy for a couple weeks by the time I came here and it was very nice to have a burger, fries, large salad and cheesecake, which are hard to find fully vegan anywhere else. The staff member I met was also vegan and very friendly.

Fast and budget friendly - Edit
The food is budget friendly and pretty good value for your money. I like that the have both fast food options like burgers and sandwiches, but also dishes like risotto and gullash. Some of the dishes were a tad bit too salty, but in no way inedible.
Read moreThe interior decoration could use an update, as the place has a 'kindergarten-feel' to it.
The music was good - old school rock, but it was a bit loud. Cakes were good!
We went twice and will probably go again if we return to Florence.
Pros: Good value , Good music
Cons: Childish interior decoration, Music a bit too loud, Canteen-like food presentation

Something different! - Edit
I really liked this vegan take out place. It served different items like a Lupin meatloaf with bread and BBQ sauce drizzled on top. So delicious and the man at the counter looked so badass like he was in a rock band but really nice haha

Another delicious Italian vegan "fast food" chain! Had a burger and fries and they did not disappoint. Owner was super friendly. They were just reopening when we arrived at 5:45P on a Thursday. Why can't we have places like this in Canada??

Went there when visiting Florence. I had a stew with lupins and vegetables, nicely prepared. They also have burgers. As a desert I had a huge piece of cheesecake.

Disappointing - Edit
An interesting menu in a nice environment, with art displayed on all the walls. The food was too salty for our taste as we avoid salt for health reasons,, but served with fresh and tasty greens (the croquette) or raw cabbage (the goulash). The visit was spoiled for us by the presence of a small dog at the next table being fed treats to stop it barking as new customers came in. Unappetising! I love animals and don't want to eat them, but I don't want to eat with them either.

Veggy Days
my dear lady,
Read morewe are first of all animal-rights activists and we allow dogs in our restaurant, as even the Italian law permits this. The little dog (dachshund) was with his owner and did not disturb anyone. If you can not bear the presence of (live and happy) animals, next time avoids to go iin vegan places....

This place was not the best vegan food I've eaten in Italy but still pretty good. And super close to a delicious gelato store with the best vegan hazelnut.
Read moreWe shared the pesto pasta which was very good and the carpaccio which was also pretty good. The meals were quite small but filling.
Cute outdoor dining area.
Had a few vegan deserts including croissants with marmalade.
The burger menu is in English but the blackboard specials are in Italian. The staff was happy to translate for us.
Pros: pasta was excellent
Cons: mostly burgers, not a huge Italian food range.

Ideal for a quick bite - Edit
This vegan fast food offers international and Italian specialties, such as burgers, hot dogs, focaccias... We came here in the afternoon to eat a focaccias and a hot dog. We appreciate them both, good quality, very fair price, quick service. Exactly what can be expected from such a place offering besides a nice variety of dishes. The staff was friendly and the place is not far from the city centre. Have a stop!

better than it looks on the web, offers more than veggie burgers, check the day board - Edit
Good food, friendly staff, they offer a range of dishes that vary daily. I had risotto fungi, salad and organic wine. Well worth a visit. The setting is informal. Only reason i dropped a star was because the salad was served in a plastic bowl, however all the other items were served in glass / ceramic. my friend has a gluten intolerance and they also offered a good choice of gluten free.

Very Nice - Edit
I came here a couple of days ago whilst on holiday in Florence, it was only a couple of streets away from where we were staying. I was pleasantly surprised as some pics I saw before didn't look great. The staff were lovely, explained the menu to us in English as our Italian is poor.
Read moreI had a burger and fries, with an organic lemonade. It was really tasty. The bun was lovely and multi seeded and the vegan cheese and mayo were great in it. The fries were yummy too. It was a bargain price too, was about 10 euros for the lot.

Pros: Yummy food, really cheap., Lovely and friendly staff.
