I tasted a fennel and pistachio lasagne, exquisite!
For the main course, an Italian specialty: roasted flat onions, served on a bean purée, very original.
For dessert, I tried their gluten-free tiramisu, not very sweet and very light.
The setting is very chic, with an impressive choice of dishes.
The menu is offered on a tablet, no QR code, that's a change.
I was well advised on my choices, and received a very warm welcome.

Really cute spot in the Brera district. The staff was very friendly. The food was good but I’ve had better vegan Italian dishes. The sauce on the lasagne was a little lite, tomatoes on the bruschetta were fresh but not super tasty. Still a great spot and I would go back if I’m that part of town.

This place looks quite fancy but surprisingly affordable. Fully vegan and great food. So a must if you are in Milano. Lasagna is their speciality but risotto was also wonderful. You have to wait for half an hour for it but definitely worth it. They should however significantly improve their dessert

Best Vegan Lasagna - Edit
I was so excited to try some traditional Italian food when visiting Italy, which isn’t the easiest thing to do as a vegan! But Il Lughino pulled through and made me so happy with their Italian offerings. Everything is house-made and fresh. I loved the spinach tofu lasagna. I wish I could have more!! All their breads are also made in house, which I thought paired nicely with the seasonal appetizer which was rice and nettling flan, with leek cream glazing.

Wir sind aufgrund der guten Rezensionen und weil es auch am Nachmittag geöffnet hat, hierher gegangen. Es war mit Abstand das teuerste Essen, dass wir in den vergangenen zwei Wochen hier in Italien hatten. Aber es war es absolut wert.

Vegan dining at it’s best - Edit
Service was lovely, great set of staff working there. Lughino starter (Russian salad, vegetable quiche and chickling). The quiche was especially delicious. You don’t have to ask for bread, they bring it over. Escarole lasagne was lovely, nice portion. We ordered the tomato spaghetti (couldn’t have the cheese as it had cashews in it and I’m allergic, but my partner said it was good). It needs something else, it’s not got enough spice or basil even though it’s meant to be an ingredient on the menu. It’s still tasty but just feel it could be elevated a bit further with those extras being a bit more present in the dish. Tiramisu was good, tasted actually of coffee, corn and soy pie with plum was great as well and a whole bottle of Tuscan white wine. Lovey service, very friendly. Vegan fine dining at its best😄

Simply amazing, when in Milan, go to this place! Perfect vegan Italian cuisine. The staff was so friendly, the food was amazing. A very relaxing but feeling fancy ambiance. The tiramisu and lasagna’s were amazing! You get homemade sourdough bread with every dish. We went also to the one in Como. Perfect for lunch or having a more fancy diner! Would really recommend!

Lovely vegan dining experience! - Edit
This restaurant has such an elegant and warm atmosphere that I was glad I came the minute I stepped inside. Very kind and friendly service as well. Their specialty is lasagnas and the ones we tried were indeed delicious. The thing I loved the most about them (besides them being 100% vegan of course!) was that they had a wine-pairing suggestion for each dish on the menu. It was surprisingly affordable as well. The only reason I'm not rating them 5 stars is that their appetizer plate and dessert were a little underwhelming. Other than that, I loved it here and I'm definitely planning to visit again.

Il gestore così ci ha presentato il ristorante mentre eravamo lì davanti e probabilmente aveva ragione. Locale e servizio molto curati. Antipasto del lughino Composto da una torta salata di cavolo nero, insalata russa e paté di cicerchie molto buono soprattutto quest'ultimo. Lasagna alla Valtellina (praticamente delle lasagne condite come dei pizzoccheri) squisite. Arrosto di seitan con cavolo nero e anacardi buono, ma non quanto le altre portate. Dolci buonissimi e abbondanti, la Sacher non ha niente da invidiare a qualsiasi Sacher in tutto l'impero austroungarico!

Ambiente molto accogliente con personale disponibile, gentilissimo e professionale. Cibo ottimo. A me piace moltissimo provare ricette tradizionali rivisitate in chiave vegana. Dall’antipasto al dolce un tripudio di sapori. Porzioni giuste che saziano. Tornerò sicuramente la prossima volta che visiterò Milano.

The staff speaks English and was really helpful. I went there for Lunch on a Saturday, they had a small menu.

We all had soy Bolognese lasagne with crudités. The lasagne was so good and filling. The cake portions are enormous, leave plenty of room. Menus are all on tablets hidden inside a cork wallet, which was fun. Quiet music and a nice atmosphere, some outside seating but we sat inside. Not the cheapest but totally worth it

The food and wines were accompanied by personal service and classy environment indoors or in a protected outdoor space. The owner has great recipes and selection of wines matched to each dish. This is one of my favourite restaurants worldwide, and the cost is reasonable considering the location and quality.

Read morePortions are super generous without sacrificing the quality, especially when it comes to the lasagna, which was the piece de resistance. The risotto was also absolutely gorgeous. Don’t skip the house wines, they are delicious!
