My Go-To Vegan Heaven in Malmö – Hummusson Never Disappoints - Edit
Hummusson is hands down my favorite spot in Malmö — a place I make sure to visit every time I’m in town. Everything is 100% vegan and full of soul, flavor, and heart.
Read moreWe had the Hummusson Plate, and it was perfection from start to finish: fresh pita bread, crisp salad, creamy homemade hummus, freshly fried falafel, flavorful baba ganoush, house-made pickles, warm beans, and that signature drizzle of pomegranate molasses and tahini — every element balanced and beautifully made.
We also tried the tahini halva and honestly… mind-blowing. Possibly the best halva I’ve had. Rich, nutty, and so satisfying.
What makes Hummusson extra special is the people behind it — the owner and team are always welcoming, kind, and clearly passionate about what they do. I also regularly buy their tetra pack hummus to take home — smooth, fresh, and perfect for any meal.
Whether you’re vegan or not, this is a must-visit for incredible, feel-good food in Malmö. Can’t recommend it enough.
Pros: Well balanced plate(veggies, protein and carbs), Quality of ingredients , Cleanliness and warmness

A let down - Edit
I don't really understand why it gets so many 5 star reviews.
Read moreThe staff is super friendly, sure. However it all comes down to the food.
I have eaten there twice and both times the dishes were just extremely acidic and bitter.
There's just no balance to the dishes and the hummus is sadly not nearly as tasty and the stuff you would get in any random grocery store.

You just have to love it! - Edit
After reading the reviews I couldn't help but go here. It turned out to be an excellent choice. We had a delicious meal (I had the signature dish) and also had a very nice conversation with the man who served us. Too bad I'm traveling on tomorrow, because I would love to eat there again. Fortunately you can now buy the hummus in a package to take home, so of course I did.

Personal Favorite in Malmo - Edit
This charming little street side counter is complimented by an indoor cafe upstairs. Omar and his family are charming and friendly and they make some wonderful hummus and pita. This was the place I kept coming back to on my first trip to Malmo. Everything was delicious... Creamy hummus, savory fava beans and fresh pita. But the dish that really shined was the babaganoush. The hearty smokiness was perfectly balanced with a lemon tang. I could not get enough. Will definitely be back.

One day trip to Malmö - Edit
My friend and I visited Malmö for a day. We passed this restaurant by chance and decided to have lunch there. It's a really tiny place but cosy. The staff were really nice. I'm gluten free and were offered an extra falafel instead of the pita. The food was really nice. Chai latte was the best one I've ever had!

Kind staff where you can tell they love what they're doing. It's a family owned business with family recipes! Very good at adapting to allergies and food sensitivities, immediately offered to add alternatives instead of simply leaving out specific foods.
