Laughable expensive - Edit
Ate here 3 years ago and was very impressed with the "Shoarmageddon" pita. So, visiting in december 2025 I wanted to get me some more Humm-a-liciousness. Though I remember it being a higher priced pita, I was shocked. These prices are insane. The food is good, but honestly, not better than any Libanese or Syrian place. This place seems hyped.

Having been to Antwerp a few times before, HUMM never caught my attention because it seemed like ‘just another hummus-restaurant’. I can now say I was very, very wrong about it. HUMM serves very delicious food, fully vegan and with many great options. Besides that the drinks are great too. If I get the chance I surely will visit again.

I tend not to go to falafel restaurants thinking they’re all similar, but this place was fantastic. The food was full of different flavors and scents and portions were generous. Interior was very nice and cozy as well.

Modern Fine Dining Vibes - Edit
For dinner we chose HUMM - and it turned out to be a great decision. I’d read a lot of positive reviews beforehand, and the place absolutely lived up to the hype.
Read moreIt’s a large and stylish restaurant with plenty of seating, but also quite popular – we were lucky to still get a table. The interior is modern, filled with plants and big paintings that create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The layout is a bit winding, and there’s even a cozy little courtyard/terrace area.
We started with the sweet potato fries and the wild mushroom croquettes. Honestly, both were amazing - the fries were super crispy and flavorful, and the croquettes were next-level delicious, especially paired with the lemon mayo.
For mains, we both had pitas. I chose the Shoarmageddon with celeriac seitan, oyster mushrooms, coleslaw, and garlic sauce - while my friend had the King Funghi with mushrooms, peanut butter coleslaw, and pinda crumble (spicy). Both were super tasty and packed with flavor.
That said, while the ingredients were clearly high quality and the dishes tasted great, the prices did feel a bit steep - especially for pita-style dishes that are usually more casual. So I’d say: definitely worth it if you have the budget, but be prepared for fine-dining prices.
One extra plus: once you order a bottle of water, you can refill it for free - very much appreciated! We also had their house-made lemonade which was refreshing and delicious.
All in all, HUMM offers a beautifully crafted vegan dining experience with great vibes and flavors - just maybe not for those on a tight budget. I’d happily return and next time also check out their shop (which was already closed in the evening).
Also, the surrounding area is perfect for a nice post-dinner walk.

I particularly appreciated the thoughtfully curated menu; its concise nature clearly indicates a commitment to using fresh, seasonal ingredients that are turned over frequently.
Read moreWe opted for the "Humm experience" (€35 per person), which included a generous selection of 3 mezze, 2 salads, and ample pita bread on the side. Every single dish was delicious and well-prepared. It was also a great bonus that the staff were comfortable speaking English, making our dining experience seamless.
Despite it being a busy Saturday night, the service was relatively prompt and efficient. What truly stood out, however, was the attentiveness of the staff. Our waiter proactively offered us a different table when the noise level increased due to a nearby large group, which we greatly appreciated. This thoughtful gesture truly enhanced our comfort and enjoyment of the evening.
Overall, Humm provided a fantastic dining experience. The combination of delicious, fresh food, efficient service, and thoughtful hospitality makes it a place I would highly recommend.

Delicious fresh food but a tad overpriced - Edit
The food was fresh and delicious and the staff was really friendly. However, we found the place to be a bit overpriced considering the portion size. They also charge 3EUR per person for tap water (albeit refillable), which is really pushing it. Pitas were 18EUR which is also excessive considering the portion size

Delicious, and the hummus! And the croquette! Omg, drooling. It was presented in a very nice way too; I went to celebrate my exams and I do believe it is that kind of restaurant. To go to for special occasions. My reasoning is that the menu is quite expensive considering the relatively small amount you are being served. It was fine for my niece and I, but if I would have gone with my boyfriend I don’t think it would have been enough. But sO DELicious, I will definitely go again!

I was on a bus trip stopover and went to humm for dinner, just a half hour walk from Rooseveltplatz, and well worth the walk! Ambient vibes, delightful staff and excellent food. Highly recommended!

We ate here on a Sunday evening after making reservation online. The four of us started with 2 mezze plates with the Brussels Sprouts among them. Even the person who hates them loved the dish. The other dishes and desserts were also delicious and we have had a great time here. I gave them the excellent review HC window sticker, and explained we came here because of HC. Hope the owner will place it on the window.
