Alex is a pleasant man with a knack for killer pizza. Had the vegan maitaki with cream sauce n, two days in a row. Yes, it’s like that. Can’t wait to go back! The crust is heavenly. One of the best vegan pizzas I’ve had by far !

Vegan Pizza!! - Edit
We had the vegan maitake mushroom pizza and it was so good. Didn’t plan to eat pizza in Japan but we didn’t have a ton of options in walking distance from our hotel. It far exceeded my expectations. We will definitely go back before our trip is over.

good pizza slice for small appetite - Edit
if you are hungry you have to get a full pizza instead of a slice and this could be quite pricey but the pizza is really good
Read morevegan pizza was sold out so he made a whole fresh one just so that i could eat my slice hehe (also got the garlic bread knots which are also vegan but it just tasted like baked bread dough, i couldn’t really taste the garlic 🧄:0)

Good options, good pizza - Edit
Love that Hughes Pizza not only has vegan options but they also use vegan cheese! The garlic knots and vegan brownies(made by Folksaka) are also delicious. Great selection of beers and good wine too. I’ve made a few custom whole pizzas and the owner has been totally flexible to bring my own soy mince or one time some special vegan cheeses I got from the USA. Highly recommend this place for the food and chill atmosphere.
